I put it on my John Deere 1025r . It’s more comfortable than the original John Deere Sea. Easy to install took me less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for a comfortable easy to install seat.

William lisenby Replaced seat on bad boy mower
Seat is heavy and it was kinda rough getting holes lined up to mount it but wasn't impossible, it is way more comfortable than the oem seat and far less expensive. Overall I am very satisfied with my purchase

If you're looking for a nice seat to replace your Heister 40 It's pretty much a direct replacement.
The heister has little yellow plugs I popped out for different seat options. As realizing the seat is adjustable sideways So it could have bolted up into the stock location which was in a big deal. It is a nice option, so you could choose to offset your seat for different application. This took about 15 minutes to install. I did put a little wheelbaring. grease on the slide so it was easier to adjust. The seat adjustment moves very far so When installing, put it in the furthest position back. It will move plenty forward.
The only complaint I would have would be. The box was damaged in shipment which luckily was not damaged and what's not veror fault.
