I have a 40lbs gas frier. The oil you buy from most places comes in a 5 gallon container. The first time I used it and drained the oil into the 6 Gal Oil caddy it would not hold all the oil. So If someone is looking for and oil caddy and has a 40lbs frier, buy the 8Gal Oil caddy so it will be able to hold all the oil.
Other than that it worked Great and and sealed up fine with it's latches. Maybe I just assumed that 6 gal. would hold all the oil. Guess I will have to look into getting the 8gal oil caddy in the near future!

Karen Definitely worth it
These are great. Only put 4* due to the fact they very hard to open after hot oil goes in- they vacuum seal tight after oil cools down. I took the top screw off the lid and will see it it’s easier to open- having to use a hammer to pop the seal is horrible but worked. I do recommend these tho!
