I use many different brands of plate heat exchangers. I've been installing for 25 years and I'm blown away but the quality of this thing. It's heavy, comes with the support brakets and is less then half the cost of the ones we source from suppliers. I've used a few of them now, they are awesome.

Have not installed yet, just preparing for a summer job that needs to be done. But I would have liked to be able to get it with 2 different size connections IE 11/4" on one side and 1" on the other. But not. Cost is great compared to other places, almost 1/2 Price. Hopefully that doesn't bite me in the you know where. Sometimes cheaper isn't better.

Very good quality, very good water performance, water inlet temperature for hot water 17 degrees and water outlet 42 degrees, on the other hand water inlet from the boiler 45 degrees water outlet to the boiler 42 degrees, it has a very good performance. I highly recommend it

Der leistungsfähigste Wärmetauscher, den man für kleines Geld haben kann. Wir haben ihn verwendet, um die Wärme von einer Wärmepumpe an unseren Heizungskreislauf zu übertragen und dazu im Kreuzgegenstrom angeschlossen. Er bei für etwa 6 kW Wärmeleistung keinen messbaren oder fühlbaren Temepraturabfall zwischen Eingang heiße und Ausgang kalte Seite. Die Anschlüsse eignen sich für einghanft 1 1/4 Zoll oder auch für flach dichtend mit 1 1/4 Zoll Überwurfmutter. Dann muss man ihn aber spannungsarm einbauen und eine Centellen-Dichtung verwenden, weil die Dichtfläche nur etwa 3 mm breit ist.

I installed an outdoor wood boiler in 2015…. I want to say I purchased the same heat exchanger back then for $250+. 10 years later the exchanger scaled up, and wasn’t as efficient. The only thing I have to gripe about was that this unit had 1 1/4” MPT treads in it. My old one had 1”. Couldn’t find stainless reducers at my local Menards, so went with Galvanized which I hope I won’t regret. Overall, very happy with the install, no leaks, and a super warm house again in Northern Michigan.

Ich baue meine Sole-Wärmepumpe um, damit ich damit auch (passiv) kühlen kann. Ich möchte so wenig Temperaturverlust über den WT haben, deshalb habe ich diesen grossen WT gewählt. Ich hatte zuerst Angst weil MNPT draufsteht, das ist aber falsch. Das Gewinde ist weder konisch, noch NPT. Eine 1 1/4" Überwurfmutter ist perfekt bis an die Dichtung draufgegangen. Auch eine Messung sagt mir, dass es +/- ein G 1 1/4 Zoll Gewinde ist (14mm für 6 Runden).
