Great little welder. I was impressed right out of the box. Welding 3/8 5x5 tubing. Use 1/8” 7018 and it worked great.

The ginger welder Best bang for your buck
This is my 2nd unit of this machine since I like the 1st one so much. Bought it to put with my portable set up. This welder welds aluminum amazingly. I sold my esab for this set up! Doesn’t have high freak but that’s ok, I do enough welding to know how to work around that. This machine has a lot of room for adjustment that you don’t even see on high end welders. May be confusing for people just learning. But it has normal tig that you can select so you don’t feel overwhelmed. But don’t be scared to play around with the settings to learn what they do, you can always set it back to normal. Highly recommended machine

Have been using it occasionally for one month and so far it have done the job perfectly. Lots of adjustments.
I have never TIG-welded aluminium earlier but a few YouTube videos and a bit of fiddling with settings and it went very well.
A pity that the foot pedal is digital. Alu-TIG would really benefit from an analog one and the welder seems to be prepared for one.
