Ok, first things first if you use the extension adapter they provide with this you rish a chance of starting a fire. It goes from a NEMA 6-50P to a NEMA 5-15R that’s a no no in the electricity world. So cut the end off the welders power input cord and wire it up with a NEMA 6-50P then you will get full and proper power to the welder to maximize its output capabilities. welder seems to run good. Haven’t had much chance to weld with it.

Machine runs well it’s all in mm size so you will need to convert it. All setting in the book are a good starting point. Only complaint is the leads are very short but what does a person expect for the money. Over all great machine.

Affordable and easy to use pulse mig. I don't think the automatic function works very well, but with manual adjustments you can get good results. I haven't had any problems the first time I used it. The mig welding handle is a bit lightweight, so not quite professional :)

I haven’t used the welder a hole lot ;the stick welder welds good &the wire does to I don’t like your book. It’s not the best thing to hard to read. Don’t say anything about how to use the welder on aluminum you say you can use the meg welder but not telling her anything about what to do in some settings you have and don’t quite understand them.

I bought this for my Daughter who is learning to weld .I have only used it to flux core , but it really puts out nice welds .I thought it would be Just a cheap welder for her to play around on ( and keep them off my good welders) But it welds just as good as my welders . I dont know how long it will last ,But right now it works great . So now I'm looking at their 250 amp Pluse welder .Just gotta figure out what a Pluse welder is .It says Pulse once in the description . The rest is Pluse?? Check it out

Scant information on the manual vevor mig 250. It should have specs on stuff that not included like the tig torch standard connectors etc . I should not have to spend time asking vevor for what torch vevor has to put on this thing that available.. They should also have already indicated vevor tig torch available on the sell page. As well as spool gun if available for this model. If they do not want to spend money on printing the should hire someone to do a video on this model. For a newbee...need more starting instruction on best practices....set up voltages amps for thickness etc....speed ....other than that ..not bad .

This welding machine comes with everything you need to get started. However, the included wire brush and welding mask are not very effective, so it's a good idea to purchase better ones. It has a knurled wire feed roller for 0.8mm and 1.0mm flux core welding wire. The machine is set up with a 0.8mm contact tip, and it also includes extra tip in 0.8mm and 1.0mm size. The included 0.8mm flux core wire worked well in my use. When using the lowest power setting, wire feeding is inconsistent, but increasing the power by 5 amps usually solves this issue. Welder automatically switches to a higher wire feed speed when it doesn't detect any welding, making it easier to feed in new wire. The manual is poorly written and mentions settings that this particular welder doesn't have, e.g. what the MIG/MAG setting actually does. The MIG/MAG selection seems to be for choosing wire diameter/power; MIG is for 1.0mm wire @ 50-130A, and MAG is for 0.8mm wire @ 30-130A. Other annoyances are that the cables from the welding torch plug get in the way of other connectors when plugged in. Rotating the end of the plug by 180 degrees would solve this. Also, the ground cable is quite short at just 0.5 meters. Overall, for the price it is a good welder, and after figuring out the settings, it worked without trouble for the three days I used it for. I only used flux core wire, but I don't see why it wouldn't work as well with solid wire + gas.

Great price and does easily small fix . Good one for amateur workshops. Easy setup and if you’re learning this is great for starting to learn how to do welding

Works good loading wire an issue like most small mig welders , wire got stuck behind spool a couple times. So far so good nice little welder.
