Our cat has so much energy we needed to find a some sort of outlet. The wife saw an advertisement for the exercise wheel and after carefully searching we got one. So far she uses it at all times of the day / night. I did not find it hard to put together though the wood is light weight therefore I made sure to not strip the screws. The noise level when she’s on it varies from a low hum when walking or a slow run to a moderate rumble when running all out. The low hum does not wake us at nighttime. However the rumbling noise wakes me when she’s full out running. As far as the noise it makes is from the small wheels it sits on (the four wheels it sits on and the four guide wheels). If the company would invest in a smoother wheel I believe the noise level would be almost gone. I plan to look into a good roller skate wheel to see if it will help. The wobble is noticeable when she’s running but not to the point it causes the wheel to tumble over. Possible the light weight wood could be a contributing factor to the wobble. Some reviews pointed out the carpet having an odor. We took the carpet out before putting the wheel together sprayed it with an odor eliminating spray and vacuum it and since we have not noticed any odors. All in all I like the wheel and give it a 4 1/2 stars. I will attach the video of my wife working with our cat to familiarized with the wheel. And one video of her on it around 1 AM in the morning.

I actually got this for my “small” cat because he’s so full of energy and constantly so bored. Never thought the “large” cat would be interested. Well, small cat is not the least bit interested and large cat started using it on his own without any encouragement. He’ll do it with encouragement as well but likes to lay on it and just run a few minutes at a time on his own. He goes longer each time so hoping he’ll eventually go for longer and get some much needed exercise. As for the quality and build: it’s decent enough! There is a lot of “play” in the slots everything sits in so it can slowly be pulled to round, bit of a process but works fairly well in the end. It’s a bit difficult to keep the joints aligned to stay true though, even with the extra reinforcements at the joints… and the wood is soft and feels like it will crack trying to tighten things down more, so it’s not quite perfectly round. This plus the wheels that don’t spin the most freely means the whole thing is a bit stiff to run in. Ends up working well for the large boy but not sure the small one could get it spinning even if he was interested. Docking off a star for that, but all in all it feels nice and solid and heavy enough to hold up to running, is easy enough to assemble, not terribly loud (slight rumble and little hiss when a not quite joined piece rubs the sides), and seems to be a great value vs other wheels we’ve researched.

:) While assembling, the ends of one piece of the circle broke off while turning the wheel around to add screws to the other side. I recommend installing the support blocks on the inner circle before turning it around, even though the instructions tell you to add the blocks last, because extra support might have prevented bending and breaking. Luckily I was able to glue the broken pieces back (added some tape for extra support), and the inner support blocks give extra support anyway, so it's mostly just a small cosmetic flaw now. Overall a good price/quality ratio, and the cats love running in it! :)

Easy to assemble, well made quality materials. Once assembled it works very well, the cats used it at first, now occasionnally of course. No accidents, no mishaps. The only negative is that it is noisier then I would like, but still very tolerable, no one is woken up by the noise.

I bought the 52" wheel. I thought I needed this size for my large Siamese but I'm not so sure now that I have it. I think I should have went down one size. This size is probably better for small dogs. Or multiple cats using it at the same time. I'm uploading a video discussing the problems I had with the wheel. Mostly it's not a bad design. But it's the wrong material for the job. This would be much better if made of some type of plastic. I broke a support part while putting it together and 3d printed a replacement part. I also had one of the wheel panels get partially damaged from the screw going in slightly off centrer from the drilled hole resulting in making it almost impossible to assemble. I was able to find a solution (see video) but not everyone has these kind of tools laying around like I do. I discuss other things in the video that should help people with assembly. The wheel seems to stay on the track easy and it has bumper wheels to keep it centered. The carpet piece is high quality and I'd bet it's going to outlast the wheel structure. It also feels like turning the wheel from the Price is Right. (I accidentally say wheel of fortune in the video). I may make some price is right style decals for the side panels, just to add some whimsy to it. Overall. I bought this one because of my budget and wanting a big one for a big cat. But not gonna lie. Kinda wish I had just bought the more expensive plastic one. As for getting my 2 cats to use it. I'm working on it. But haven't gotten either of them to do much. However, my in neighbors cat who visits, is more interested in it. If I can get him to run on it maybe it will entice my cats. I definitely didn't buy it for the neighbors cat. Lol. Additional photos show scale/size and the 3d replacement part.

Leuke loopwiel. Prijs kwaliteit oke

My Bengal loves the wheel, he weighs about 14 pounds and the 52in wheel is a bit too heavy. He can't full on run on it, but he does walk on it through the day and night. I gave it a four star rating because it was a pain in the butt to assemble.

Gute Preis Leistung.
