I would have given this a higher rating under different circumstances. I’ve been full-time overlanding since June and purchased this heater specifically to get through winter travel and cold nights. In terms of heat output, it does exactly what it claims — it puts out great warmth and, for the price, it’s an affordable way to stay warm. That part has been solid. Unfortunately, based on real-world use in a moving vehicle, I’ve run into some serious shortcomings. 1. Fuel cap leakage: When driving with the tank around half full, the cap leaks. Fuel has sloshed out onto my vehicle floor and, at times, somehow made its way out of the cap breather hole and onto the doors. This caused diesel to drip onto the heater’s air outlet and soak into the air hose and surrounding plastic near the heater core. Once that happened, the diesel smell filled the cabin and lingered. I strongly recommend choosing a model where the exhaust and warm-air outlet are on separate ends and the fuel tank has a properly sealed cap. I am still trying to find a replacement cap that fits correctly. 2. Poor-quality hose: The included hose is very low quality. It has ripped three times in less than a week, especially at right-angle bends. It also absorbs diesel fuel when exposed, which permanently traps the smell. I ended up replacing the hose with a better-quality insulated heater duct, which has significantly improved the situation, but this should not be necessary out of the box. This heater is warm and budget-friendly, and for stationary use it may be fine. However, for full-time or mobile overlanding, the fuel cap design and hose quality make it inadequate as delivered, particularly due to fuel leaks and diesel odor inside the cabin. After replacing the hose, performance improved, but I have not yet been able to find a properly fitting, non-leaking fuel cap, which remains a major concern. Especially since I may have to replace this new hose as well if the leaking continues onto the air output. I should not have to clean it with soap and water every time. It’s disappointing that an otherwise capable heater is held back by these issues, especially when comparable models with better tank and hose designs exist + or - $30-40

I just received my diesel heater a couple of days ago and I fueled it up and et it run for about 4 hours. I kept smelling diesel fuel and when I moved it, I smell more diesel fuel so I’ll reach out to Vevor customer service which took them almost 2 days to respond just to tell me to replace the fuel cap. I just bought this heater and I don’t think I should have to pay to replace the fuel cap or tighten up bolts on this heater. I cannot deal with the diesel smell as it spills when I move this heater around. Everything else with this heater works I recently purchased a diesel heater and fueled it up, running it for about four hours. However, I kept smelling diesel fuel, and when I moved it, the smell intensified. I reached out to Vevor customer service, but they took nearly two days to respond, only to advise me to replace the fuel cap. Considering that I recently bought this heater and don’t believe I should have to pay to replace the fuel cap or tighten the bolts, I’m concerned about the situation. The diesel smell is a significant issue because it spills when I move the heater. While everything else with the heater works great, I’m struggling to overcome the diesel smell and resolve this issue with the company. After spending nearly $600 on other items and planning to spend more, I really want to know how they would address this issue without suggesting a simple replacement. I want to share this experience with others in case they encounter the same problem. I’ve only had the heater for less than a week, and I had planned to create a YouTube video about diesel heaters from this company, but now I’m uncertain about proceeding.great. It’s just getting over the diesel smell and trying to work it out with this company after I spent nearly $600 on other items and plan on spending more. I would like to know how they would resolve this issue without telling me to replace the cap. Just want to let others know to be aware in case you have the same issue. I’ve only had this heater for now less than a week. I wanted to do a YouTube video on diesel heaters from this company but now I don’t know.

Am Anfang war ich regelrecht begeistert. Ein kompaktes Gerät das auch gut funktionierte. Leider schaltete sich die Heizung nach ca. zwei Wochen immer wieder ab und gin in den Modus "Selbsttest" und war auch nicht mehr daraus weg zu bewegen. Ich musste sie ausschalten und wieder einschalten. Sie startet dann neu und geht nach kurzer Zeit im Modus "Heizung" wieder in "Selbsttest". Der Vevor-Support schreibt mir dazu das wahscheinlich das automatische Start-Stop aktiviert wäre und ich es abschalten soll. Echt jetzt??? Die Funktion war gar nicht an, ich hatte sie aber auch schon mal ausprobiert und kenne sie daher, was ich auch geschrieben habe. Daraufhin gibt es keine Antwort mehr. Mittlerweile sind auch Fehlermeldungen dazu gekommen die ich dem Support beschrieben habe. Ich habe schon eionige Sachen bei Vevor gekauft und war immer zufrieden mit der Augenscheinlichen Qualität. Wenn man aber den Support benötigt, stellt sich heraus das die Qualität dort wohl nicht mithalten kann. Ob ich nochmal bei Vevor kaufe? Ich weiss es nicht...

I don’t have a product issue, I have a product support issue. There is no phone number to call and 95% of the customer service I received was AI. I spent a whole weekend sending my responses only to get the same questions and requests from the AI bot on the other end asking me to send pictures which I had already done. The next time I had a question it was the same type of nonsense in a response only to tell me in the end that Vevor doesn’t sell accessories and that I should go to Amazon. It took 5 days to get that one sorted out. The company that I work for did $81 million in aftermarket sales in 2025. Vevor might want to get a better strategy

Worked fine for 2-3 weeks then started acting up white smoke , won’t start. Contacted VEVOR and all I received was a video, on what to look for . And that was through email. Nothing else . I can definitely say VEVORs customer service sucks

It is so disappointing the heat cant even reach to + 20 or +25 Get only to + 8 Even if we run it on high.. Fauls advertisement that it doesn't heat the shed like it says it would..

unpacked this and it was missing the LCD display, remote and carbon monoxide detector.
