Great buy. Works awesome. The only thing is. Get new heavier clamps for exhaust. The ones that come with it aren't heavy enough and won't tighten up. Tip- ( dip fuel line in diesel fuel to get them to slide on. )

Nice little machine, delivery was fast and came in good shape. Was very easy to set up and the instructions are very clear to understand. Was surprised that there was very little diesel smell. Highly recommend.

This thing is absolutely great! The temp tonight will be -20F with wind chill of -40, yep I live in ND. I put the heater in my tool/work room, it will keep it at 45 even in that cold, burns a gal. of fuel in a day or so. This thing is good, best feeling in the world to get a good tool at a good price that does the job!

Ich war erst skeptisch, ob die Heizung das gewünschte Ergebnis bringt. Ich nutze diese in einer Garage, um Garage und das darin befindliche Auto vor der Fahrt nach einer kalten Nacht zu heizen. Der Aufbau war Recht einfach und die Inbetriebnahme auch. Es gab bereits einige kalte Nächte, auch teilweise unter Null, nach denen ich morgens Garage und Auto heizte. Meine Frau und meine Tochter wären begeistert. Das Auto war top vorgeheizt, sodass die Fahrt in die Kita trotz eisiger Kälte sofort angenehm war. Ich muss noch erwähnen, dass mein Auto selbst nicht über eine Standheizung verfügt und diese Variante ein schnelles Low Budget Lösung ist. Noch ein Wort zum Verbrauch: sehr überschaubar. Der Stromverbrauch ist minimal und der Dieselverbrauch sehr überschaubar, wobei ich die Anlage grundlegend eine Stunde vor Fahrt starte und somit auf bereits einige Betriebsstunden komme.

Some simple assembly is required, which takes about an hour. You'll need to mount it to something, at least some wood blocks to boost it high enough to vent the pipes from underneath. After installing and clamping the exhaust and intake pipes, adding diesel fuel and attaching to a 12VDC source, press start button on Bluetooth remote. The startup sequence is a little stinky but in 5 minutes or so there is awesome heat blowing and minimal exhaust smell. It sucks air from the back of the cabinet and delivers fresh air via a 3" flexible aluminum hose in the front. The exhaust and intake for combustion are separate. You could put the whole unit inside with the exhaust hose going through the wall, or you could just put the fresh hot air hose inside through a 3" hole in your wall. That solution is healthiest I think as your heated space is getting hot fresh air, and fuel fills and spills are outside. I am very impressed with the value of this unit. Highly recommended! There is 13kWh of energy in a gallon of diesel fuel, and this unit promises 8kW which is 27,296 BTU, and has a one gallon tank. That's 66% efficiency. Some people have routed the exhaust through a cast iron radiator before directing outdoors, which would recover nearly all of the waste heat. For perspective most 1500 sq ft homes with standard R-15 insulation would require 3 of these to stay warm on a very cold day, but one would keep the pipes from freezing in an emergency and sitting in front of it is WARM. Diesel fuel costs about $4 a gallon near me at this writing. I think you could burn 3 gallons a day on high, or all day on lowest burn setting. You'll need a 13.2VDC source (standard car battery), deep cycle is recommended. Not recommended to use a charger at the same time it's hooked up, because that's usually above 14VDC. AC to DC converter that gives 12VDC power is acceptable.
