Excellent heater - incredible value for money I’m using this 8kW heater on my 5-metre Jarcat catamaran during Australian winter and have been genuinely impressed. After about 10 nights of use it has been completely reliable, produces an enormous amount of heat and is surprisingly economical. Running at 2-3/10 for an 8-hour night uses around 2.5-3 litres of diesel. One 14-hour overnight run used about 4.5 litres. Power consumption once running is very low, although startup draws a decent amount of current, so connect it directly to your battery rather than through an MPPT controller. The fuel pump does tick, but with the heater mounted outside at the opposite end of the boat it’s barely noticeable, especially with a small cabin fan circulating warm air. My cabin actually became too warm and I ended up opening a hatch! A couple of tips: never turn the heater off by disconnecting the power. Let it complete its normal cool-down cycle every time. It’s also worth running it on full power for 20 minutes each use to help keep the burner clean. The display doesn’t appear waterproof, so I’d recommend covering it from rain or heavy dew. For just $110 delivered (Sydney to Newcastle in only 4 days), I honestly don’t think there’s better value available. Great for boats, caravans, rooftop tents, camper trailers, garages and sheds. Highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Muy buena calidad ,se ha usado para calentar una habitacion de unos 30 m2 y calienta muy rapido , poco condumo de cobustible.

Voor gebruik in de voortent heb ik er een paar houten blokken onder geschroefd, zodat het geel nog wat stabieler werd en bovendien meer ruimte voor de uitlaat gaf. Om de uitlaat heb ik een hittebestendige isolatie-sleeve geschoven, zodat de uitlaat makkelijk onder het slibzeil van de voortent geschoven kon worden. Dat werkt perfect. Tijdens de toch koudere voorseizoen-avonden, werd de temperatuur in de voortent een heel stuk aangenamer! Het scheelde letterlijk een jas en een elektrische deken. Aangesloten op een compactere accu, werkt het naar behoren en echt helemaal goed. Echt, ik vind het een perfect ding!

Was on auto mode when I received it, but once I worked that out it really pumps the heat! I think it needs extra exhaust pipe to make sure it doesn't suck fumes into the intake

Works great, had to engineer a specific vent shield through the wall but the unit itself works great.

Absolutely LOVE this heater, has saved several stray animals lives over the past few winters. Bought the 8k all in one carry style heater as well to supplement my heat in my home for the real cold weeks of the winter, and surprisingly has the capacapability to heat my entire house(albeit a smaller house 950 Sq ft) and cheaper than my actual heat ( electric baseboard)by a factor of HALF! 5-10$ A DAY! have not had any issues with either system. Way to go, EXTREMELY VERSATILE HEATING SYSTEM! Uses are endless! Can be powered many ways
