Chris Premier kit d’exploration
LCD 152.4 mm

Andrew It's tough to use.
LCD 304.8 mm
It's sensitive enough to detect any metal on you and figured out footwear was throwing it off. No matter what sensitivity setting I have used it on I haven't had luck getting this to work with finding anything without false readings and it has been sitting since about two weeks after purchase. If your looking for something for a hobby find something with a screen that can update quicker. It would be returned if it was an option.

Patrick Fisher Mediocre at best
LCD 304.8 mm
Rings on bare dirt, settings jump from too sensitive to nothing in one push. I dont think it's real bad, but there are equal machines for much less.

Ben Heavy and flimsy
LCD 254 mm
It seems very flimsy mid shaft, and it's considerably more heavy than the one I already own.
The pin pointing doesn't work very well, and the handle isn't very comfortable.
I don't know what "child" would using this. Certainly not my 8 year old.
