I was nervous to spend so much money on this (non-folding) reformer, but after reading many reviews and hearing mostly good things, even though most reviews were on the foldable or less expensive ones, I decided to just take the plunge. I am INCREDIBLY impressed with the quality of everything about this reformer - from all the parts and materials used, how it was mostly all put together on arrival, and how it was packaged. I'm surprised it did not cost twice as much!! But don't tell them that!! ;) This reformer is even better than the one I have been using at the yoga/pilates studio for the last year! :) It is so well made and smooth and quiet - I love it! I put all remaining parts on myself and it was fairly easy to do - took about an hour. One particular reason I bought this one is because it has 3 rows of knobs to put the springs on to give them more tension. I've only ever seen 2 rows max. And this one has 6 springs - 2 of each colour. You can do so many things on a reformer, but with the added weight tension available, even men can get a good workout on it. :) The unit was in one large crate on a long pallet that the driver unloaded into my carport. After spending a little bit of time trying to pry the crate open the wrong way, I figured out the right way and it got easier. There are no instructions about that so I will briefly explain because it's not easy to recognize at first - the lid has metal edging with slits in it and the crate has metal edging with little flaps sticking up that go into the slits on the lid and get hammered down to hold the lid on. If you reverse that and pry all the metal flaps up as straight as possible, the lid should come off in one piece. Once opened, two of us had to bring the frame into the house (it's quite heavy being solid wood), and I brought the carriage and all other boxes/pieces in myself. The only two slightly negatives were that the tracking info did not update for several days after it shipped. This didn't help me feel super great about my decision - hoping I didn't get scammed since I had never heard of VEVOR before!! When I checked in with customer service they said they'd have to look into it more, but they offered me $60 refund for the 'inconvenience'. That was nice but made me a little skeptical, wondering if I took the refund it would somehow void any possible full refund if it never showed up etc. (since I bought the extra 'piece of mind' shipping/tracking insurance)! Anyway they came back the next day with an update and it looked like it was only a few more days away from delivery, and I was satisfied with that so I did not take the $60! Delivery was 9 days total. The 2nd negative, which isn't a reflection of the unit, is that I guess there's no industry standard to have all spring weights on all reformers made to have same color coding. My studio has red (heaviest), blue (med) and yellow (light), and this one has red (heaviest), yellow (med) and green (light).

Sehr schöner Reformer, macht richtig Spaß

Pienamente soddisfatta dell'acquisto, si tratta di un modello basico e non si possono pretendere elevate prestazioni, ma il rapporto qualità prezzo è più che conveniente e per le mie necessità sono più che sufficienti: se dovessi effettuare upgrade ad un modello più performante so che mi potrò fidare, ma per il momento va bene così. Consegna veloce, imballaggio adeguato.

Pour le prix très bien. Ce sont de vrais ressorts et non des sangles élastiques ce qui est bien tant au niveau de la résistance que de la durée de vie (je l'espère). Le montage est très simple, les 3/4 sont déjà montés. Je le laisse déplié en permanence car il n'est pas si simple que cela à replier à chaque fois. La qualité et le confort ne sont évidemment pas comparable avec un vrai reformer de studio qui coûte 10x plus cher. Cependant les exercices que l'on peut faire sont tout aussi efficace. Je recommande de faire des cours en studio pour apprendre à utiliser la machine correctement (autrement ce n' est pas évident et on peut mal faire) puis, si vous êtes accro comme moi, d'acheter ce reformer pour en faire à la maison à volonté. Le prix est vite rentabilisé au regard des cours en studio. J'ai acheté en complément à decathlon du gel silicone pour graisser les roues et assurer leur durée de vie. C'est le seul point d'attention en voyant certains commentaires qui disaient qu'à la longue les roues s'usent et se fissurent. Elles sont en effet beaucoup plus petites que des roues d'un reformer de studio.
