I purchased this machine as part of an upgrade to my business, specifically to speed up the packaging of loose-leaf teas. After researching several options, I chose this unit largely because the price point made sense for a small but growing operation. I regularly weigh a wide range of herbs—from fine powders to whole flowers—and overall, this machine has helped improve my workflow and packaging speed. That said, it is not without its drawbacks. The first challenge was learning how to make the machine fill properly. Despite the company’s claims, I cannot simply dump herbs into the hopper and press start. The machine is extremely finicky. Every time it is powered on, I have to recheck and recalibrate the weights, as they are never consistent with previous settings. Weight accuracy is a significant issue. For example, when filling 28 g bags, I typically need to set the machine to approximately 31.5 g to achieve a final weight of 28–29 g. The same issue occurs with smaller weights. When filling teabags that require about 3 g each, the machine only works reliably with heavier herbs and performs poorly with flowers. To achieve a consistent 3 g fill, I often have to set the machine anywhere between 5.5 g and 6.2 g. Even then, results can vary. I am also unable to use the hopper for filling purposes. I only use it as a cover when storing the machine. In my experience, the hopper is ineffective—herbs consistently get stuck and will not feed through, even when the opening is set to its widest position. Early on, I found myself constantly pushing herbs through by hand. Once I stopped using the hopper altogether, the machine performed much better, although this does mean frequent refilling. Another issue is build quality. The prongs on the vibrating tray snapped off on the second day of use. They are not well-welded. Fortunately, they do not seem essential to operation, so I continued using the machine without them. I also question whether the vibrating tray vibrates strongly enough. Some reviewers mentioned excessive noise, but I have not had that experience. The machine does make noise, but nothing I would consider excessive. On the positive side, the weighing hopper itself works very well and is an ideal size for my business needs. The discharge port also performs well when weighing higher amounts. However, it becomes unreliable when dispensing smaller quantities such as 3 g. In these cases, the weighing hopper can back up, and the discharge port may fail to release the full amount. This can happen unexpectedly in the middle of a job, forcing me to power down and reset the machine. I have had no issues with the sensor—it functions as intended. On occasion, if it does not trigger when I place a bag underneath, I cover it briefly with my finger and it activates correctly. In terms of speed, I exclusively use the “Fast” setting, and even that feels slow. The other speed options are not practical for production work; f

The machine is great for the price and features but it takes way to long to weigh and dispense the powder. We’re only doing 50 grams per dispense and compared to similar machines it’s really slow.
