I’m not very happy with this lawn sweeper. I’ve tried so many adjustments thinking perhaps I just didn’t have it set correctly. I’ve also thought that maybe it’s the type of leaves I have (Texas Live Oak) that cause it to not pick up very well. I was so hopeful that I wasn’t going to have to rake and scoop up the leaves this year, but going over and over the pathway to pick up the leaves is a waste of time. The sweeper is a nice quality and seems to be well made though.

It is hard to push it. Hard to discard the leaves.

There are pros to this lawn sweeper as well as several cons. The pros include: it is a very reasonable price and it will definitely pick up leaves. As for the cons; the collection bag is fairly small, so if you are doing a lawn with an even coating on leaves on it you will be emptying the bag approximately every 40 feet. Keeping in mind it removes leaves from a 20 inch swath. If you are using the paper leaf bags it's a pain to empty the sweeper bag into these bags. You end up spilling lots of leaves on the ground. The narrowed end of the big is just too large for the bags. As other reviews have noted, if you have any sort of depressions in your lawn (and who doesn't), the sweeper will go right over them and not pick the leaves up. I have also learned that you don't sweep your lawn with any sort of wind outside because the leaves will get blown away as the sweeper kicks them up into the bag. This sweeper is best suited to be used with a light coating of leaves on the lawn. It does pick most leaves up, but in situations of a heavy coating of leaves, it will drive you crazy emptying the bag every 30 seconds.

I bought this because I thought that it would be easier to cleanup my yard vs a rake but I think it uses a little more time to do the same job. I am not talking leafs so it would probably work a lot better for that but I use it mainly for pine needles. The lower rod is not a very good placement removing to empty the bag also has elastic straps that hold it open they should just have hard sides because dumping the bag it folds over. That being said I do still use it.

Works great for grass clippings but it shoots leaves to high and fly’s over the bag. Won’t pick up any sticks or small rocks.

Pretty disappointed with the entire order. They use on trac to ship there items. Good luck with that. This definitely picks up grass but apparently your grass needs to be pretty short. My grass was 3” after I mowed it. I had the sweeper at the highest level and it was tough to push through the grass. I have an area where the grass is cut lower for a golf area and it’s much easier at that lever. Unfortunately I need the grass picked up in the main lawn. Didn’t work out for me.

I specifically purchased this because there was an ad and it showed it picking up dog poop. It does not, however it does pick up freshly mowed grass pretty well, not great but OK

Good price difficult to push and fills out very quickly

I love the concept of this lawn sweeper. It seems like it should be perfect for my need - I live in an HOA community that includes weekly grass mowing. The sweeper works well enough - it seems to pick up a lot of the grass clippings where I can push it, but it is VERY difficult to push despite putting the unit on the "high" setting. Overall, I'm not sorry I bought it but I probably wouldn't buy it again. My neighbors have all given mine a try and aren't planning to buy their own, and haven't asked to borrow again.
