This ramp is wonderfully sturdy and at 30# may not require installation of the included bolts (at this time). However, as it is a rubber product, we expected it to smell, but it is overwhelming. We intend to use it at an interior garage/house door to assist elderly parent's access, but unless the smell abates, it will have to be placed elsewhere (it has been washed and currently sitting out in the sun...).

does just what we need it to. my grandmother drives her mobility scooter on it all the time and it has hardly moved, once in a while i do have to slide it back into place flush with the door but not very often. it tends to stay where i need it to. it does come with some lag bolts you can drill into the floor/porch to make sure it never moves but i didnt use them. its been outside at our front door for a few months now and the worst things that's happened is the yellow arrows are fading and peeling. it did have a strange smell to it that lasted about a week so id say if you plan on using it inside you might want to leave it outside till the smell is gone

We moved into a retirement community and had one step from garage into kitchen. My husband uses a walker and several of our friends use mobile carts. All of them navigate this area much better with the ramp. Several people have taken a picture of it and said they were going to order one too.
