I don't own a single vinyl album so cannot comment on this tool's intended usage, but for a woodworker, it's a game changer. Spending 20 minutes with a brass wire brush scraping sap and resin off of each of the 96 teeth on a miter saw crosscut blade (after letting the blade soak in hot, soapy water for an hour) is a major inconvenience—so much so that I would often let my blades go for too long without cleaning them. The result, of course, is increased cut times, excessive heat build up, scorch marks on the wood, and a generally unpleasant time. And that was still preferable to giving the blade a good cleaning. This cleaner changed everything. I can get a blade looking good as new in about 60 seconds using nothing more than tap water and a splash of dish soap. I still don't tire of turning on the ultrasonic cleaner and watching my water turn brown in an instant as pitch, tar, and resin get ejected from my blades. It's like magic. It'll clean a 10" blade on the included spinner without a problem, even if the shaft isn't perfectly aligned on the larger arbor and it wobbles around a bit. For a 12" blade, the clearance between the teeth and the sides of the container is about 3/16" if the blade is perfectly centered, which means that wobbling around a bit isn't an option. You'll need to make a custom 1" spacer to fit perfectly inside the sawblade's arbor; a hole saw and bit of scrap wood work nicely for this. I've also successfully cleaned 115" bandsaw blades. You'll never get the whole blade in at once, but by soaking the lower part of the blade and manually turning it every few seconds to expose the dirty parts to the water, you'll eventually get your whole bandsaw blade cleaned in way less time than it would take to scrub it. I've also cleaned router bits by suspending them from a cord in the water (after removing any bearings) since I didn't think the metal blades bouncing around against the metal container was a good idea. The petcock at the bottom to drain the water is fantastic. The heater is great and keeps the water nice and toasty. The build quality seems good, though I do wish the manufacturer had done a better job of water proofing a device that is destined to live its live around water; you can actually see some circuit board through slits in the metal body. Things I would change: I wish the spinner rotated about 1/4 as fast as it does. Each tooth is exposed to the water for maybe three seconds before coming out (although even given that, it does work wonders). I wish there were included 5/8" and 1" spacers for sawblade arbors, but I get that this is designed as record cleaning tool. Seriously, if you're a woodworker, this is a game changer.

I didn't expect much given the price, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it works amazingly! It literally removed a skip/repeat section that spin clean couldn't fix. It made the sound floor much quieter, much less static and noise. Still experimenting with solutions, but straight distilled water works wonders. I bought a variable voltage charger for the spinning motor so that it spins much slower than stock. I also bought label covers so they don't get wet. Both from Amazon.

We love it! It works amazingly, we are very impressed with all aspects of the cleaner and the results it produces.

I purchased this ultrasonic cleaner to clean my old vinyl records. Wow! What a difference it has made. Some albums sounded brand new where others had the crackle and pops drastically reduced. Followed a typical cleaning solution recipe and temperature, but did it for 20 minutes (only 4 records at a time). Knock on wood, but no issues so far. I highly recommend this product. Thanks.

Un prodotto veramente ben fatto e che giustifica il costo. Ero scettico sulla qualità specialmente del motoriduttore che rappresenta una bella fetta del prezzo totale. Invece non posso che riconoscere l'ottima fattura e i materiali di pregio. Il supporto è in alluminio pieno lavorato e non pressofuso; la coperture del motoriduttore in ottima plastica lavorata e non stampata; l'asse in acciaio tornito; i dischi in ottima plastica . Anche la vasca è di ottima fattura completamente in acciaio inox con maniglie laterali e rubinetto di scarico in ottone. Un rammarico per i comandi “analogici” : termostato e timer meccanici: comunque funzionano benissimo. Il funzionamento è leggermente rumoroso per via dei generatori di ultrasuoni che ronzano però è più che accettabile. Ho avuto un piccolo inconveniente nell'assemblaggio del motoriduttore: non riuscivo a bloccare l'asse sul motoriduttore perchè lo stesso non si inseriva a sufficienza da impegnare la vite di blocco. Il problema è stato risolto rapidamente dal servizio post vendita grazie alla disponibilità e gentilezza della persona che ha gestito la richiesta e che ho piacere di ringraziare pubblicamente. Un altro piccolo problema è rappresentato dalla dimensione dello spessore che dovrebbe consentire di bloccare il pacco dei dischi che risulta eccessivo tanto da coprire interamente il filetto dove va inserita la manopola di bloccaggio. Ho risolto forando un tappo di sughero e tagliando una sezione adeguata. Ancora una cosa è l'assenza di un cestello per utilizzare la vasca per il lavaggio di altri oggetti. Viene fornito un piccolo cestino per le minuterie . Ho trovato, a sorpresa, uno scoladischi componibile (senza istruzioni ma con un pò di fantasia si riesce) che si è rivelato molto utile. Il lavaggio dei dischi si è rivelato superlativo oltre ad eliminare le macchie ha annullato ogni rumore; il suono risulta molto più pieno e armonioso si riescono ad apprezzare anche i livelli più bassi per l'assenza totale di fruscii. Veramente soddisfatto della spesa. Per il lavaggio meglio utilizzare acqua demineralizzata (io ho usato l'acqua di recupero del deumidificatore) con l'aggiunta di 20/30 cc di un prodotto per i vetri con antistatico. Sinceramente non so se quest'ultimo sia indispensabile. Ho poi asciugato l'eccesso di acqua con un panno in microfibra e ho lasciato ad asciugare nella rastrelliera. Con una vasca ho lavato circa un centinaio di LP . Quando ho visto un leggero deposito sul fondo ho preferito buttarla anche se ritengo che non essendoci oli o altri inquinanti solubili sui dischi non serva cambiarla più spesso.
