I don't know if there is something wrong with mine or I just don't have the knack for it. I have it mounted to the ceiling of my garage, and it usually takes me a few attempts when pulling it out for it to "lock" in place and not just retract back. When it does retract it also sometimes does not retract the entire way and leaves "extra" hanging out the end.

I tried to order the 12 awg 80 foot cord reel but recieved the 14 awg 50 foot instead. When I contacted someone about it they said someone would send an email within 24 hours with instructions to return. That was over a month ago and I'm still waiting. VERY, VERY, DISAPPOINTED!!!!!

terrible product. I contacted Vevor multiple times with no resolution. The breaker keeps popping off even with the littlest power draw. Do not waste your money on this. Harbor Freight has a better product and better customer service
