To begin with, I was amazed at the superior quality of this product. It is built like a tank.
Not only is the quality exceptional, but the packaging is top notch; it came in perfect condition.
Please note: Putting this together takes time and patience. Before tightening any bolts, be sure everything is level and plumb. Again, use your head! As with buying any tool, all tools must be checked for alignment and proper fitment.
There are no instructions with this press, only a diagram. Study it. Outstanding results.

got the job done. Had to make a few extensions as I was pressing out a long heat exchanger from a casing but it worked just as intended and saved me big bucks as the press was one tenth the cost of a new heat exchanger

I had to weld the bottom of the bottle jack to the cross section so it wouldn't slide off in use. Works well otherwise.

I really liked everything about with the exception of the actual jack. It takes a lot of pumps to get the thing to move and yes the valve was closed tight. It still worked for the small job but doubt it can really provide 12tons of pressure. I will end up replacing the jack as I like the rest of the setup.

It is well made, sturdy. A bit on the narrow side, but it will do what I purchased it for. For the price, it is well worth it.
