Overall a good product. Noticed two slight dents also one of the screws did not fully tighten with some protrusion of same. I’ve not placed any packing on it yet. First full trim with it is this weekend.

Louis Lightweight but poor construction

Pros: it is light weight which is what I needed for my small car and the first time using it worked satisfactory.
Cons: Putting it together. The rivet nuts were poor quality and came loose. As a result I was unable to remove the half tighten screws. Not trusting the the rest of the connections I added permanent rivets through out.

Not all aluminum. Lots of plastic and the mounting hardware didn’t work with aero blades.

The internal dimensions are a lot smaller, they show 48" long in the description and the pictures; but the actual internal length is 40".... I ordered a roof bag based on 48"... it does not fit.

Den abgebildeten Dachträger habe ich vor längerer Zeit gekauft. Der Träger war damals teurer, über 130 Euro. Es ließ sich nicht gut zusammenbauen, die Endphase war schwieriger und an einem Teil passte eine Schraube nicht richtig. Der Träger ist nicht der günstigste, und ich war vor allem von der Befestigung an den Trennwänden, an denen er befestigt werden muss, enttäuscht. Für die gegebene Preiskategorie ist es sehr schwach. Die Trennwände meines Autos sind dünner. Die eigentlichen Gewindehalterungen reichten bis in den Lagerbereich hinein und mussten abgefeilt werden. Ursprünglich wollte ich den Dachträger zurückgeben und habe Vevor um eine Rückgabe gebeten. Ich wollte den Träger nicht mehr auseinandernehmen und habe die Befestigung so angepasst, dass sie die Ladung nicht behindert. Leider verfügt der Träger über keinen Diebstahlschutz, wer ihn möchte, kann ihn einfach und schnell aus dem Auto entfernen. Ich bin mit dem Kauf nicht zufrieden.
Was meine ich? Ich möchte niemanden vom Kauf abhalten, aber das Unternehmen sollte bedenken, dass der Hersteller das Maß an Befestigung und Diebstahlsicherheit erhöht. Der Träger ist ganz nett und sieht vom Design her gut aus. Könnte ein Griff-Upgrade gebrauchen.
