To install these on a bare roof CRV, the bars are not long enough to reach, and the brass strips you use to connect the hooks to the racks dont reach down to your doors to hook on. Do not purchase if you have a Honda CRV and expect a UNIVERSAL roof rack with cross bars to fit a common make and model of SUV. Also while putting it together you can tell the tiny nut holding the whole thing together is cheap cheap cheap.

It doesn’t fit on my Jetta vw , it’s to big for mine so it’s not universal for every car and I can’t return it

These things are awful. The pieces of metal that are supposed to hold thing thing down don’t even work. You can try to ratchet the thing down all day but the mechanism that is supposed to hold the roof rack in place just slips. Belongs in the dumpster, do not purchase!!!

Bonjour, J'ai bien reçu les barres de toit. Cependant, le montage s'est avéré difficile. Lors du serrage avec la clé, les extrémités se sont rétractées et se sont tordues, donc impossible à installer sur le toit. Je n'ai donc pas poursuivi, l'installation de la 2ème barre. Comment procéder ? Est il possible d'avoir un remboursement ? Un retour avec un bon de retour ? Dans l'attente de votre réponse et vous en remerciant vivement par avance, Bien cordialement

Ik heb deze aangeschaft voor onze vakantie naar Griekenland. Niet echt makkelijk te monteren en zeer luidruchtig/ fluitend en wiebelige dakdragers. Wij hebben er geen vertrouwen in dat we veilig op onze bestemming aankomen. Daarbij mag je volgens de instructies, niet harder dan 80 km per uur rijden met deze dragers. Wij zijn er erg ontevreden over!

The one release didn't work properly right out of the box. I went to take the cross bar off the vehicle and couldn't without ratcheting the tightened and pushing the release together. When doing this it pinched my thumb so hard. Other three mechanisms work 100% properly

Avoid buying from this company. They don't give you an option to return items. After sales support is bad as well. They only respond after 48 hours for every inquiry. They also don't supply spare parts in case one broke so you have to buy whole package again.
