Très bien et très pratique

Very well designed! Easy to assrmble. My logs are cut to 22” so the cover won’t fit anything. I made a ‘plate’ to go on the forks on my tractor. My plan is to cut, split, and stack in one location snd use the tractor to move a rack of firewood to the porch as needed. Just a bit weak for that so I made the plate. Now it works great and I’m ordering two more.

Good products on time and good quality

I resisted buying a firewood rack for many years because I grew up both working in my father's logging/firewood business and then later just making firewood for heating our own house, and we never used such things. Everything was stacked on the ground and the wood was cured outside. Most people in the northeast have basements, so the drying out happened when the wood was moved inside the basement, so no problem there either. Plus, in our house, we burned wood round the clock for 6+ months a year, so even wet wood would burn fine in the already hot firebox. Now, on the other hand, I just use wood either in the fireplace or to heat my shop intermittently. The wood doesn't ever get stored indoors. No room without a basement or lean-to (yet) here in the south, and it rains near constantly, so moisture is a serious issue getting my EPA stove to burn the wood hot enough so that creosote doesn't condense. These give you a nice easy way to both get the wood up off the wet ground and to keep the top layer of wood dry. The bottom stuff stays pretty dry too except on the ends, and it keeps the rot from setting in too bad. In the past just leaving a stack of firewood outside for one winter left me with spongy dry rotted wood by spring that was worse than softwood with how quickly it burned up. Another nice thing about these is that they're very lightweight when empty, so I can move them around as needed as I shuffle things around the property in the summertime. I liked the first one enough that I bought a second about a week ago. My only complaint now is that because I filled up the second one I bought with wood and now need to create more space, they're out of stock. Hopefully they get them back in stock soon, because I will definitely be buying more when they do.
