I am 5’3 and under 120lbs. I have to go sideways to walk in and out. My husband cannot comfortably make it in or out the door. The door does not lay flush making a sizable gap that allows insects and weather in. There is no way to lock your sliding glass door. The aluminum and glass are very thin and will cause issues whether trying to keep house cool or warm during seasons.

Got the doggie door pretty quickly, but it was not put together well and was unusable - could never speak with any customer support - they only email. They said they would send me replacement parts and after 3 weeks never got them. They said they got “lost” in shipping and tried to offer me a $57 credit instead. When paid $175 to start. So annoying - asked for a full refund and they finally agreed after I sent it back.

I don’t understand the high reviews for this product. Look elsewhere if you have any doubt. The big reason I’m not able to use it is because the flap is so flimsy that it doesn’t seat right when closed and allows a significant draft. There are other issues but that is the main issue. I’ve had another brand of dog door in the past and it was a much better design and better more sturdy door flap. I thought I’d try this one because of the good reviews. I let VEVOR know my dissatisfaction and they offered me $45. I don’t know what I’m going to do with a panel that I wouldn’t want to sell someone and I’m still out $100+. Communication with VEVOR customer service is slow and after a week there still is no final and completed resolution. I would not buy anything from VEVOR again because of that. I’ve had no issues returning products from many other similar sales companies.

Door locking mechanism broke and we haven’t even had it for a year. VEVOR would not replace unless we boxed it ourselves and sent back. With glass we couldn’t do that. They tried to send part but it got lost in mail. Ended up only crediting us partial amount. Buyer beware locking mechanism is weak.

We purchsed the Sliding Glass Door Doggy Door insert. The dimensions listed on the website were not accurate and resulted in a door that did not fit the door despite it being within these dimensions. The event was addressed with Vevor with mutual satisfaction but be sure to check the measurements of your door if on the lower end of the measure.

The dog door insert works well. Weather stripping would be a nice addition to seal the gaps between the sections. I need to get some to seal the air leaks, other than that it works well.

It takes up a lot of space and leaves very little for human traffic in and out. The sizing is off , I got an xl for my standard poodle and Labradors and I could easily have used the next size down.

I tried to show them a picture of a dog that has small legs and can't go through their dog. Door they didn't think that was enough. So they don't wanna give me a return. I've packed it all up nice. I don't know what they want. I just want my money back

The door doesn't lock to secure the whole door. Looks good in theory but doesn't make it safe to leave the house and can be easily broken into if gone.
