Eric Replacement for non solar version
Originally purchased the battery only model but needed to replace with this solar powered unit.
The battery operated door uses a lot of batteries and with no low battery indicator you don’t know when it will stop working. Defeats the purpose.

Chris Coop door
Super easy to install. Has been working great for a month or so. I’ll be curious if the winter causes any issues, but so far it’s great.

Stjepan Review of a chicken coop door
350 x 250 x 73 mm (Nero)
The door is excellent. There are no additional components, and batteries go directly into the door's control panel. It is easy to install and very simple to set up. It only takes few minutes to install and get it running. I recommend it.

mc*** Good, But issues during power outages
I have had this door for about eight months, and overall, it works well. However, I am experiencing an issue with settings during power outage.
The door features both power and battery modes:
- Power Mode Issue: When the unit is plugged in and a power outage occurs, the timer loses its programmed settings. Once power is restored, the door opens or closes at incorrect times based on when the interruption happened.
- Battery Mode: On battery power alone, the door lasts approximately two to three months, depending on the temperature during colder seasons.
