Andrew Worked to remove moisture from phone
My phone had water in it, even in the camera lens elements. The screen had a defect which was replaced under warranty but that ruins the IP waterproof rating, which I forgot about when I dropped my phone into water and rinsed it off. Suffice it to say, it was water logged, with water even in the camera elements.
I turned off the phone, warmed it a bit inside a sock attached to a hair dryer, and then placed it in the vacuum chamber. Two holds at max vac (just under 0.1atm was reached pretty quickly, and looking at temp/pressure tables shows that shouldn't be sufficient) for about 20-30 minutes each, and I think the moisture is all gone. If not completely, almost completely, and I can always just run it again.
Honestly I'm really happy to have this for my home lab, excited to see what else I'll use it for now that it's on hand.

DT Excellent for Degassing
Perfect for my silicone and epoxy projects. I don't work on large projects but the chamber is enough for my needs. Instructions are clear and easy to follow.

I had thought I was missing a seal from a tube video I had watched and I reached out. They were fast to respond but it turned out that the extra seal was not needed for this model and it seals directly to the pot. It works fantastic and I’m really happy with it. Aesthetically it’s beautiful!

The only downside is that it does not have a second port so that the inlet and outlet would not share the same connection. Reduces the range of uses for the equipment.
