Best pump we ever used. $200 vs $800 Cat pump that is not as powerful.

Been buying Cat pumps for 15 years now for the marina use. This Vevor pump is $200 vs $800 Cat version of the same pump. The Vevor is by far the best and most powerful pump. Sorry, Cat, you lost my business.

The pump was delivered a few days later than promised, but the packaging was excellent. We replaced our Harbor Fright 4400psi/4.4gpm pump with this one and could tell immediately that the pressure was better than the original pump. We hope that the pump will provide the 500hrs it's advertised for, and continues to perform as well as it does now for the life of this pump. Good job Vevor, thanks to you, my 4400psi pressure washer is a beast again!

I bought this pump due to my old pressure washer hemorrhaging oil from the engine. The old one was of a vertical sealed design and I saw these pumps on Vevor.ca and decided to buy one to mount to one of my other small engines (as shown in the pictures, it is an Ai Power EnergyCube 208CC Honda derivative that I used previously on snow blowers). Overall, the quality of this pump seems pretty good for the price and saves me from paying several hundred to a thousand dollars for a machine with a potentially lesser pump. This one being where I can check, change and add oil is a plus. It seems to deliver on its set specified pressure of 2600 PSI and if I need to in a pinch, I can adjust it up, but I would want to get an in-line pressure gauge so I would know precisely. For my tasks the pressure is fine and if and when I want a bigger unit, I have that option down the road as this will fill my needs for now cleaning lawn and garden equipment, my gutters as well as washing cars. As shown in the photos, the unit sits on an old delivery dolly modified for mounting an engine and I had to order some rubber vibration engine-genset mounts so the thing doesn't shake the dolly apart or make too much noise. I was originally planning to mount it to the old pressure washer cart my old one occupied but that would require some fairly serious modification as it originally held a vertical shaft engine and pump. An important note is make sure you have anti-seize for the fasteners and engine shaft if you ever have to remove the pump again. PROS: - Came complete with everything needed to mount it to an engine as well as some extras including a solution mixing hose and spare O-rings. - Pretty well made, premium feeling pump, so far, following what I found with other Vevor branded tools and power equipment. CONS: None so far.
