I had a very old heavy duty oil drain tank that probably cost 3 time's as much as the vevor tank,but this one is well made, there's a few things that seem alittle light duty compared to the other but I would expect that but I am more than happy with it so far hopefully it last half as long as my other one, I'm certainly going to buy another now that I've used this one for a month or so and would definitely recommend

Fonctionne vraiment bien bien laisse chauffer le moteur avant de faire la vidange que l’huile soit très fluide pour être aspirer l’laisser le compresseur tourner en permanence pour avoir une bonne dépression temps minimum 30min pour vidanger environ 5litres donc on a le temps remplacer les filtres et aussi faire attention à enlevant le tuyaux bien mettre un chiffon en dessous pour éviter que l’huile ne coule partout

Works great! Weld quality and craftsmanship leaves a little bit to be desired but that’s nitpicking. Overall great deal for the money.

I was somewhat skeptical to purchase this particular oil vac, but I decided to chance it because I didn't want a manual hand pump. I will say the instructions included are just about useless. They are clearly a poor ai English conversion. After assembling the various oil draw tubes, and after replacing whatever asian air line fittings it had with standard automotive quick connects, I set to figuring out how to use it. For anyone reading this, after attaching the oil pump to the tank, you must 1) close the drain valve and drain air pump valve. 2) close the oil draw tube valve ( where the dipstick connector is) 3) open the air filter valve ( behind the copper air screen) 4) connect air line to the vacuum pump and then open the air valve beside the oil pump. 5) let vacuum pressure get to 6mb (almost to the edge of the green range on the vacuum gauge), then open the valve on the oil dipstick and let the oil pump into the tank 6) when pumping is complete oil vacuum gauge will drop. Turn off air valve on oil vacuum pump. 7) to drain tank, close oil vacuum pump line on dipstick, close air valves on both sides of vacuum pump, then connect air line to drain line pump (valve closed). Open drain valve first and place drain tube into container for used oil THEN open air valve and let tank pump down. NOTE: when tank gets close to empty pump will sputter and oil will splatter out if you're not careful. Overall I'm happy with the way this pumped the oil out of my inboard boat engine, the largest plastic tube slid right into the dipstick tube on the engine and pulled all the oil out with no mess. The only drawback I see is if you needed a longer suction tube on the tank itself it could be hard to maneuver the tank. Also the hook on the drain isn't the most convenient to directly drain out the oil into another container but I made it work. One other note, the storage tube for all the various draw tubes doesn't have a capped bottom, so the tubes will drag on the ground and also drip oil if you're not paying attention. Good little unit, and waaaay better then doing it manually, with almost no mess 🙂
