I've used this on my backhoe for moving logs and boulders. Pros: - This is a very solidly built grapple, great for moving logs or boulders. Cons: - The hanging grapple is never facing the right way when lowering it onto a log, so you have to dismount the tractor, orient the grapple in the right direction, and then get back on the tractor to lower the grapple onto the log. - When lifting a log, the grapple hooks dig into the log, so when the log is set back on the ground, you have to dismount the tractor, free the teeth from the log, and then get back on the tractor to lift the grapple away from the log.

Bought this to move heavy logs on my property and it really makes the jobs easier. Much better that chains that are a pain to use and sometimes slip. This thing grips harder as it is used. You better have a good size tractor or skid steer, as this easily grips logs heavier that my Bobcat could lift. Glad i have a larger tractor to do the really heavy stuff. Looks to be build for the long haul and am very pleased i bought it.

Used this to complement the forks on my compact tractor. I can pick up a 12ft x 22 inch log and carefully place it on a trailer without dropping it or rolling it off the forks. Works just fine, a bit overkill for my property but it works. Combined with the Fork Lift Hoist the setup is just what I needed.

Heavy duty log claw. Haven’t had a chance to use it yet got for an upcoming project. I am satisfied for the quality.

Outils très robuste

We call it the monster claw. It is a tank and would take some extreme measures to break this thing. I'm not great at operating alone yet. Way more efficient if you have another person to set and disengage. I think I have the bolts to tight. It may work better loosened a bit. Very useful tool for me!
