A Fantastic Value, these 8 Ton capacity skates will support most workshop machines safely. The PU rollers overcome floor joints easily for a smooth transition of the equipment being moved. The rotating Non-Slip cap allows for a 90 degree change of direction while loaded, so that a machine or load is capable of being moved in one direction into a passageway, before moving it along the passageway to a new location, without unloading and reloading for the change of direction. (additional, suitable bar of less than 18 mm diameter is required to reach and fit into the round, tubular tie bar ends of each skate in order to rotate the wheeled section while loaded) N.B. these tubular tie bars are nominally 20 mm ID, but the internal seam flash and misalignment of the side plates prevents a 20 mm dia bar to pass through.

I bought these to move one of my lathes. A 17 inch Clausing-Colchester Monster. About 6500 lbs. These guys did very well. My wife helped me move it and we're still married. It worked well.

We used these under the legs on prefab manholes. We were able to move them around the shop, where even using 2 fork trucks was not enough to lift. These improved the safety of the shop during fabrication.

I used these skates only one time so far. I purchased the solid steel wheels because I've read too many reviews indicationg that the Poly covered wheels tend to fail. I moved a 8000# order picker forklift. The skates made it easy to roll the forklift up an inclined trailer. I'm happy with these skates. Like I say, only used these one time but I have zero complaints. They did what they are designed to do.
