The hoist works as expected, but the wired controller does not work.

Light weight, using it as a winch crane - no precise control on stopping the winch.

Christmas morning, my husband opened up this gift only to find it broken. I have been in contact and when they get a part to repair it they will ship it. So here's hoping they can get the part and it can easily be fixed. At this time, I can't give it a positive review nor will I order from this company until it is resolved.

I purchased two of these winches to be used together to raise and lower a large heavy object. A peel and stick label on the top of the winch advised in very poor English grammar: "Cannot be used to improve, it is forbidden to two or more lifting the same weight" . Whatever that means, I took it to mean that I could or should not use the two winches in tandem to lift the single object. I speculated that the radio signals controlling the two winches might interfere with each other and make the lifting unsafe. There was no indication of this risk in any of the marketing on line and I was only made aware of the problem or potential problem after I had purchased and opened the first package. When I contacted customer service at VEVOR, they offered to refund a small amount of money and told me to keep the winches. I indicated I was not satisfied. They offered to refund 1/2 the money. I was still not satisfied as I had no use for the winches If I could not use them. They offered $300.00 which I accepted. Why on earth would a company with the capacity to manufacture and ship this equipment around the world not have enough good sense to translate its labelling into the language of its potential customers and put any safety warnings like this one on the internet marketing for the product. I certainly would not have purchased these things and wasted all this effort if that warning had been evident in the first place. This was back in mid October. Today I was finally told that the refund has been made. I still haven't seen it in my account but assume it will turn up. All in all, not a satisfactory experience with Vevor.

Unit wrecked itself after a few uses as it did not make contact with the green shut off button. After showing pictures and video of this being the case and being directed to disassemble, followed by showing the motor completely detached from cable/gears/etc... the unit does not operate at all (although green light comes on). No refund/replacement offered. I would suggest that anyone who uses this hoist add a bumper in the area of the green contact switch, because if the plate comes in at an angle it can continue to exert force despite being fully retracted. The plastic housing can deform under this stress, but I'm not sure whatto do about that. Setting a contact plate further up would also work, but I'd still be concerned about coming up at an angle and not making contact. Other than this failure mode, it was decent for the price. Fair warning, it is slow and I only ever tested it at 1/10th of its listed capacity (single sheet of plywood/bag of insulation etc).

Poor quality did not last one job. Contacted customer service for warranty and continuously Got the runaround asking me to take the unit apart and try to fix it myself. Ridiculous.

I was hoisting the rear of my motorcycle that weighs approximately 400lbs when the cable pulled thru the cable crimp clamp the motorcycle dropped and the hoist hook fell off and hit the motorcycle and put a dent in the gas tank
