I got the hoist to install in my garage mainly to help deploy a fold up trailer, but it would also serve as a general purpose item. I installed it on a 10' rail so it could be slide back and forth to lift things into the trailer. It seems to be a good hoist but has 2 real flaws and a tiny one. First, the wired remote is permanently attached. I specifically bought the hoist because it had a wireless remote so why would I want to have the wired remote always dangling in my way. And no good way to attach it to the hoist. I got a wiring diagram to install a connector in the power cable so I could remove it but I have been warned this will void my warranty. Second, I will need to put another power outlet in the middle of my 10' rail. I did get a 8' coiled power cable that coils up to 3' but, again, voids my warranty if I replace the stock cable. Lastly, a red light blinks whenever the hoist is plugged in - no way to turn it off. A nit but it annoys me. I will have to install a switched plug now. So, just know what you are getting into.

Hoist had damage on the frame like it was hit or dropped at the factory, was also missing a bolt. Vevor offered a resolution which I'm happy with. So far hoist is working fine. The remote control is handy.

Purchased this hoist and the corresponding support arm. Be aware that despite clearly showing how to do it and stating it can be used that way, mounting on the thicker (50mm) short arm can't be done out of the box. Neither the hoist or arm come from Vevor with the correct sized mounting bracket to attach the hoist. Vevor does not sell them nor provide them. Support told me to go to a hardware store. Who also sells hoist btw.

Received this hoist the first week in August. It did not work, would not travel in either direction more than an inch or so. Now after 28 emails back and forth with Vevor, the problem still has not been resolved. At first, they asked me to take and send in videos of the issue, I did, 3 times. They would email me back and say they could not open the video, but I could. The third time, I sent the video in 3 different formats. Every time I would respond to an email, withing the next day I would receive another email stating that if I did not respond, my ticket would be closed and marked as resolved. They then emailed me and asked me to open the equipment and check for damaged or loose wiring. I did as they asked and let them know everything looked good, but it had not changed a thing. The next time I heard from Vevor they offered me $51 refund for a hoist that they sell for $193.90, for my inconvenience. I explained that I still needed a working hoist so they responded back with an offer of $84 refund. I am now in the first week of September and guess what, I still have nothing. No replacement hoist, no full or partial refund, nothing. Vevor is obviously not the company I thought they were and, no surprise, they do not list a phone number you can call with any issues.

⭐ 1/5 – EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED – POTENTIALLY UNSAFE ELECTRIC HOIST I am extremely disappointed with both the VEVOR electric hoist and the way VEVOR has handled my complaint. The hoist failed after approximately **3 minutes of use**. It was practically brand new and had only performed **three test lifts with a load of around 10 kg**. After this extremely short period of use, the hoist became **very hot and there was a burning smell**. It then stopped working properly. Now it is **impossible to switch the hoist on**. Every single time I try to start it, it immediately **trips the electrical circuit breaker**. For safety reasons, I will NOT attempt to use it again. In my opinion, an electrical lifting device that overheats, smells burnt and repeatedly trips the circuit breaker could potentially be dangerous. What disappoints me even more is VEVOR's handling of the complaint. I opened **Ticket #3738487** and clearly explained the problem. I asked VEVOR to tell me whether they would **repair the defective hoist, replace it with a new one, or refund my money**. Instead of providing a concrete solution, I keep receiving automated messages informing me that my ticket will soon be marked as **“Solved.”** How can the case be considered solved when: * the hoist is still completely unusable, * it has not been repaired, * it has not been replaced, * and I have not received a refund? This is, in my experience, an extremely poor way to handle a warranty complaint involving a potentially serious electrical fault. A lifting device is equipment where **reliability and safety are extremely important**. A product that fails after only a few minutes of very light use and repeatedly trips the electrical protection is not something I am willing to continue testing. Based on my experience so far, I consider VEVOR's handling of this complaint completely unacceptable. **I currently cannot recommend buying VEVOR equipment to anyone.** If VEVOR eventually resolves this properly by repairing or replacing the defective hoist or providing a refund, I will update this review accordingly.

Installed it plugged it in and does not work.... Just hums Very difficult working with a return from Vevor. Probably will not buy from them anymore....

Manque de progressivité au démarrage et il aurait été bien de mettre un guide d’enroulement du câble. Sinon fonctionne très bien bonne qualité de fabrication

Non funziona bene molto lento il cavo non idoneo si ingroviglia sostituito il cavo ed è migliorato
