Works just as good as a Harrington for 1/10 of the price. Can’t go wrong

The 20" chain is heavy but I I know it will not break. The coating is quite tough, I put some light oil on to keep it from spalling but it may not need that, not sure. The action is very positive under load. The brake action is consistent, and the switch from down to up is very smooth. The assembly is well-designed with nylon lock nuts to prevent coming apart while loaded. I feel like this is the best quality medium-capacity manual hoist I have used. The only thing that makes "easy to use" four stars instead of five is that for one person, it is quite an effort to move it around. A cart or carrier two-wheeler is appropriate for a smaller person. The chain is quite heavy at 20 feet long.

Used this tool for pulling trees to fall where I need them. 20-foot length is perfect for this job.

Used this to pull out 2 very large stumps. It did the job with ease. Great tool, great price, fast shipping. I have the 1.5-ton hoist like this also.

Great little comalong as we called them underground. Been looking for one these since I retired. They are one the .our useful tools anyone can have, from pulling trees,to engines, or yourself out of a ditch they great. This one works good, spins free both ways in neutral,so you can pull the slack out of chain and best of all there's no rope to tangle up on you. Get you one,it will be your go to when you need it.
