I wasn't going to write a review, but got an email specifically asking me to so figured I'd share my experience. I've purchased a few Vevor products in the past through Amazon and have generally had good experiences. When I was looking for this hoist I couldn't find this specific model on Amazon, but found one that I'm pretty sure is identical from another manufacturer. Ended up finding the ability to purchase this one directly from Vevor and was 10 bucks cheaper than the other branded one on Amazon so thought I'd order direct this time. When the hoist arrived, the junction box and fan shroud were smashed, which I'm confident was damaged during shipping. I contacted Vevor who after providing them with several photos agreed that the unit was damaged when I received it and said they would send me a replacement junction box, fan and fan shroud and advised that it would take a week or two to arrive. I was a little surprised they didn't offer to replace the unit as I'm not sure everyone may be capable of replacing the parts, but as I'm a fairly handy guy thought no problem I can change out some parts. I got another email a week or two later that the parts they were shipping had been lost in transit and they offered me $20USD to source local parts to repair it with. I was able to replace the junction box, but there's no way I'll ever find a shroud that'll bolt up where the old one was. I was then advised a week later that my refund of $20CAD was being processed. The change in currency amounts to 7 bucks difference which wasn't enough to worry about but was a little disappointing that it was changed. I do have the unit installed on unistrut trolleys in my garage and it works well so far for hositing tires up to a rack mounted 8' off the ground in my garage. I like the hoist, but the experience of purchasing through Vevor wasn't great. In hindsight I wish I'd paid the extra 10 bucks to get the unit from Amazon as returning it if it were damaged would've been much smoother.

Winde wurde schnell geliefert, aber Verteilerbox hatte Macke. Eine Schraube ausgerissen. Mit Sekundenkleber repariert. Für den Preis i.O. , aber Zugentlastung für Bedienteil wäre angebracht. Überlastungsschalter wäre auch ganz schön. Abdichtung der Verteilerbox habe ich bei baugleiche Winden schon professioneller gesehen. Für den Preis kann man halt solche Feinheiten nicht erwarten.

Cord/cable quality and control switch quality are poor and do not expect to see a long life in colder operating environments.

Il cavo non si avvolge in maniera ordinata e si ingroppa .Avete un dispositivo per evitare questo problema

Fraco produto. Foi entregue tal como anunciado. No entanto, o comando apresentou muitos problemas de funcionamento. Instruções de montagem insuficientes. Materiais de pouca qualidade. O cabo de aço não enrola como deve ser e perdeu rapidamente o plástico protetor. Não recomendo.

Je ne l'ai toujours pas reçu

Trying to mount under a wood beam, and wanted to use threaded screw holes for a 10” bolt to go from a metal bar (laying perpendicular and on top of beam) into threaded holes. Something screwy with threads because 1/2” course bolts won’t go in.

The item I ordered was damaged upon arrival. The box it was in was undamaged. My order number is 25101800970620110040. I just get the run a round trying to get a refund.
