What can you say about Virginia clay. It doesn't matter what equipment you use Virginia clay, once compacted is very difficult to till. Bring a shovel and rake, take your time, let her dig she will get it done!

Wife ordered this tiller to do a small job of course I end up doing the entire back yard 80x40 and laying down new sod I can safely say that this little machine worked as advertised not a single problem and it took care of all the weeds and old grass with no problem I didn't know how many rocks were in the yard until this machine brought them up to the surface it's light weight and I can definitely recommend it for your home

Ordered this to be used for breaking up the top of yard where invasive weeds had taken over. This liittle tiller worked perfectly, after removing the weeds i then tilled about 1 inch of hard soil and planted new grass. Love it.

The tiller is light but really cuts through well. I tilled through a 12ft x 16ft area with ease i would purchase this item again if needed. It would be nice if it had a slower tilling speed option available. I would say every product i have bought from vevor has exceeded all expectations.

Muscle tool Great Helper
Powerful motor drives two 8" tiller blades. Need to learn to maneuver it under your control, otherwise you will have a sore back. A great tool to have and a great helper which saves lots of arm-strong muscle when you want to dig out your old lawn and start anew from seeds. This tool pairs well with a grass wacker that uses a metal blade to remove the old grass. The tiller/wacker combo helped me redo my front and backyard lawns. Love them both.
