So far, this has been working great! I've got a salt water pool, and this will be my 5th motor in 10 years! The ones I usually buy are around $300, but found this one for much lower. I bought a fan from this brand and love it, so thought "why not". Hooked it up and it's running like a champ, thus far! I'll def. buy this again if it holds up even a year!

My Hayward pool pump motor died recently. I called my local pool company to replace it with another Hayward. I was told the cost would be around $850. I went online to find a cheaper alternative. I found the VEVOR 1.5 HP Pool Pump Motor, 56J Frame, 115V(13.6 Amps)/230V(6.8 Amps) 3450 RPM, 60Hz. The cost was $139.00. Removed and replaced the motor in about 2 hours. Buy the pump, watch some youtube videos, do it yourself and throw yourself a party with the money you saved.

Had my current pump (Pentair) fry. Non repairable. Had to purchase a new electric motor for my pump…. so started looking around at local pool stores and the internet. These are just electric motors running at a defined 3450 rpm. I was not about to pay $700+ for a Pentair : Jandy motor replacement. Or even $400 for a century (Rockwell). All are made in china anyway. So why? Took a chance on this vevor pump. Only $153. And $25 to add a 3 year warranty. Free shipping. Still less than a new pump. Arrived in 48 hours. No hassle. Installed the motor. Easy to put in. Comes w test lines you need to remove and pre wired for 230v. Direct fit to my existing equipment 3 wires, 6 bolts and remounting the impeller. Easy for anyone to manage - even with limited mechanical skills. Just watch a YouTube video. The pump is running great. It’s quiet. No more noisy than the Pentair motor I had. Runs perfect Why would I spend $700 for a “Branded” motor w a 12 month warranty? I spent under $200 (tax and warranty included). Got a brand new motor and a 3 year warranty. Seems quite a bargain. And it works great. I would never spend money on a branded electric motor if vevor is available.
