Works well. Actually like the design better than some of the oem manufacturers. It’s a slow start. Instead of hard on/off. Was only running in a Hayward pump for a couple mo the before winterizing bit so far running well.

The only time spend on it is its marketing picture, which says the shaft including threaded portion was 47mm that is NOT the case. After contacted the technical support got a technical drawing to verify that the shaft excluding threaded portion is 47mm. The I ordered the product, it arrived as promised. Installation with a instruction booklet is very smooth, and runs fine for over a month.

Motor came in quickly. Packaged very well. Perfect replacement motor for hayward super pump. Swapped motor and replaced all seals and back up and and running. Took a total of less than an hour. This may actually be the quietest motor we have had so far. I would highly recommend this motor. As for longevity, time will tell....

The 3rd time I needed to replace the motor on my Hayward W36060 in 2 years I decided to try something else, I bumped up the power from a 3/4 HP to a 1 HP and tried this VEVOR motor. It was the best single decision I've made regarding my pool. I have timers set up for both the vacuum booster pump (this one) and my main pump. They are not as reliable as I would like and frequently the booster pump does not turn off. There have been days when I didn't notice this happen and this pump happily chooched along all night without the help of the main pump. It seems perfectly okay with it, in fact, it didn't even get hot. The century motors it replaced would have almost certainly broken...thus the need to replace it so often. The only downside to this motor is it's loud. Not crazy loud or anything but it's louder than my primary pool pump. But, it's been running now for 6 months and I've had zero issues. If you are looking to replace the garbage century motor on your Hayward W36060 booster pump I 100% recommend this.

My old motor when up 4x the amounti bought for 6 years ago. I got this motor for what the old one cost. Fit perfectly easy to connect. Runs nice amd pretty good as far as noise is concerned. The AO Smith/Century motor on my Hayward pool pump was nearing the end of its life due to worn bearings and was in such bad shape overall I couldn't repair it. After searching the web, I found this model at less than half the price of the OEM replacement, so I took a chance. Glad I did. Came extremely well packed, and looks very high quality, but the proof ins in the install. Replacement was quite easy (get a seal kit for your pump) and the pump fired up right away, running smooth and quiet. The only ding I would say is that you can't expect the standard amperage draw they list as 240V/6.8A. That may be with no load, but when running the pump I measured about 8.1A, close to the stated max load draw. Still a bit better than the OEM, so I'm happy so far.
