Best 1 hp Hayward replacement motor installed in 15 years of pool ownership. 1.4 service factor. No centrifugal capacitor switching. 5/8” shaft lock with good access. Decent thermal overload.

I bought the motor in August of 2024 and installed it for my inground pool. I run the motor 24/7. As of January 2026, it is still going strong. For the price, I recommend this motor replacement for any pool owner.

It worked great and for the price. I was able to make a little more profit than I usually do when ordering from the big names.
