Very disappointed – failed after only 2 uses I purchased this VEVOR trolling motor around June 2025 and have used it only twice. The first time was just a short test. During the second use, it worked normally at first, but after being stopped for about an hour, it completely stopped working. The battery is fine and the battery indicator still works. When turning the propeller by hand, there is a noticeable grinding noise and the propeller is very difficult to turn, which strongly suggests a mechanical/bearing failure. I contacted VEVOR technical support, but 4 days have passed without any response. A motor that fails after only two uses is extremely disappointing, and the lack of response from customer support makes the situation even worse. Purchased in late November. Did not use until June. So far the motor has failed twice. Used to power dingy to shore. Arrived at shore, parked and stopped motor. Would not restart. Left dingy for a couple hours and then motor worked just fine (same battery). This has happened twice. Took the head apart no issues. I am thinking there must be a thermal switch in the motor itself. Both failures were after running the motor at full power for at least 20 minutes.

I have been a huge vevor fan for the last 2 years and their products have always exceeded my expectations. But the 24v trolling motor missed the mark. I used the trolling motor twice and the forward gears stop working. I call vevor and they gave me great customer service but this motor was a complete failure.

On the second time using the motor It intermittently would not engage the prop, the battery gauge was lit up but when you turned the handle nothing would happen. I would have to pull the handle out and in a few times to get it to work and that happened three or four times. But my biggest issue is with the customer service, after taking a number of days to get back to me on the issue They told me they could give me $69 and keep the motor which of course does not help me at all, I refuse and told them I'm on a day full refund and then after another day or two they said that they give me $129 and keep the motor which again is useless to me. In the last email that I got even though I was still wanting a full refund they said they would send me a replacement so at this point I was sick and tired of going back and forth and I agreed to the replacement. It's quite obvious what they're doing with trying to get you to take the cheapest possible option for them. In the future I will be quite weary of buying items from them based on that customer service.

When the extendable handle breaks off, you’ll need to superglue it. At the beginning of the 2nd summer, I find out 4 of my 7 gears don’t work. Cheap Chinesium - you get what you pay for

Used this motor twice. On the second usage it smoked, stopped functioning, and left me stuck in the middle of a lake. Was within the return window so tried to return it but have been given the runaround for over a week. Today instead of the return authorization I requested I received instructions on how to open the motor and tape up wires. Should the customer be asked to repair a product they just received that has failed during normal use within the return window? Tried to call them today but after being on hold for 10 minutes it just disconnects. Used the chat function on the website to reach out to customer service and they said I will be contacted by the “relevant department” but refused to tell me what department that will be. Save yourself the headache and spend a bit more to get a quality product.

Ho ordinato il fuoribordo il 9 luglio 2025. Non è mai stato spedito,il 27 luglio sono stato rimborsato per intero, ma sono comunque rimasto insoddisfatto perché il motore mi serviva durante le vacanze estive.

Peis/Leistung grundsätzlich: Prima! Aber qualitativ eine Katastrophe bisher. Hatte 2 Motoren bestellt. Bei einem sind die LEDs defekt, beim zweiten ging die Schaltung der Gänge nach kurzem Betrieb direkt kaputt. Totalschaden für mich - und der Kundenservice hat sich nicht zurückgemeldet trotz mehrfacher Reklamationen. Ich würde dringend vom Kauf auf dieser Plattform abraten;-((((((

The shaft should be minimum 54 inch or longer.The handle should be swivel handle so we can steering from different levels. Price and quality needs room for improvements.
