Works good going up and down. Does not roll smooth and easy as I would expect, making it tough to position and move around the shop. On the bright side it stays where you put it. And yes, the casters were not in the lock position. It definitely does not go anywhere when the casters are locked.

This is good overall and worked for me. I found the brackets and chains not useful as they are too close together for standard transmissions (in old cars). Also, you can only tilt the top plate one direction. My top plate was not welded square to the post that mounts to the piston, so it makes the transmission sit slightly angled.

Makes life easy for a gen X

I was apprehensive to buy this because of how cheap it sounded. After buying it, putting it together and using it to take out my manual transmission I am extremely happy with the quality and functionality of it. I highly recommend this for a do it yourself er.

Jack itself is great could benefit from some better casters they don’t roll that good under weight and seem to bending also it could benefit from some more height

well worth the money, but there is only one way to adjust the platform. you can’t adjust it both ways. other than that it’s great!

I bought this and used it one time For the price it is worth it although I don’t understand why there is a knob to tilt side to side but not one to tilt front to back? It has the knob but all it does is move it forward and backwards, not tilting up or down. I had to use a pole stand to get the right angle to align the transmission to the motor.

Got this to replace a transmission in a 69 Mustang. The up and down part works fine but the hold down chains and straps make no sense and there was no directions. It is surprisingly sturdy for the price.

Yes it worked no I won't use it again on a transmission. Lots of play in the screw adjustment, no side to side tilt just front to back, 2 wheels have locks on them and do not around completely they hit the frame. The jack rod while extended will bend it requires keeping a hand on it to make sure it doesn't tip over when doing a 68RFE. Disappointed but not surprised I was able to complete the job
