I bought this because the clay here in Kentucky is so hard and so far has been as advertised. Amazing piece of equipment. It is making my job so easy now. We have not had rain for awhile and I tried to use a hand shovel and it wouldn’t scratch the surface. This jack hammer is going through it like butter.

rjsmeyer great piece of equipment
I really like this thing! Going more than 4" deep in part of our yard takes me to almost nothing but rocks packed in clay - my regular shovel could not penetrate it at all (was planting trees). Even with this being fairly heavy (of course), it was nearly effortless to loosen up those rocks - just amazing. I'm looking forward to trying it on some concrete.

steven hoss Mr skeptical
for the price I was very skeptical of this machine, I just had a piece of concrete i needed broke out of a drain channel we were putting in a driveway, this thing beat the tar out of that concrete, it was 6" thick and 40' long took about 10 min.
