We purchased this tool to speed the process of recycling Cooper wire from jobs. There is a little learning curve (15 minutes) but you are dialed in you can reduce a big pile of insulate wire to bare wire very quickly. Looking back i do not know what we waited for should of bought this a long time ago.

Purchased this to strip so heavy gauge wire we removed during a demo job and stripped a little over 1k feet of some wire that was a little under 1 1/2 thick. There was a copper wrap about 1/8” in and then about a 1/2” conductor down the middle the rest was rubber casing that I used this and stripped it in 10-20’ sections. Took a lot of work but with this tool and a set of replacement cutter wheels I made about 10 times my moneys worth and still using it from time to time.

Perfect for what we need, smooth operation through numerous sizes of wire, money well spent for all of those small jobs

This product is fantastic. Works exactly as described with very little setup time. The only detail that is a little frustrating is that the wire needs to be guided in carefully. The gears grip nicely - but there is a fine line between perfect center and the wire sliding out the sides of the grooves. Cut depth also has to be monitored (to the millimeter) but otherwise, this tool works as I expected and I will use it until I need to buy a new one. Fantastic!

Works good for the most part, it tends to work better for thicker wiring, but the small stuff you need to use a few ways to get it to feed through, highly recommend using a drill as you will indeed get tired if you have to hand cranks, and run the drill in low and slow, you will tear the insulation if you go yo fast and it is a pain to get all the insulation out of the gears, other then that for the price it's does exactly what you would expect!
