After using for almost a year I can say this sealer is really great.
Just keep the gaskets clean like with others and this will actually last.

Scott Rentz Great vacuum packer
Works wonderfully. I go buy my meats in bulk once every few months. Breaking it down into serving size quantities and vacuum packing it for the freezer. This vacuum packer actually has a double row seal that I have yet to have leak. The operation is simple and easy to intuitively figure out. Ive had it for a little over a year and it has worked flawlessly. I would highly recommend.

This unit replaces another top branded, more expensive food vacuum sealer that had stopped working. I have to say, I like this product better. It very easy to use, nicely made and seems to be of good quality. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a food vacuum sealer.

The only reason I gave this a 4 star rating in features is because the drip pan is not removable. Having said that I must admit that the drip pan is located and arranged that cleaning is very easy. Plus you don't have to worry about getting fluid underneath it. This is very much superior to the Food Saver that it replaces.
