works well for hobby work, lacks fine adjustment between welding current and feed which would have made it a slightly better welding machine

The product matches the photo, it is a good tool even for professional use. What was disappointing was the delivery time. It was nothing like the date stated on the site. The tracking information was not updated correctly or in a timely manner. I had to contact them 4 times for it to finally arrive, otherwise I would still be waiting for it!!!!

Have not used this item yet will update after use. The item does not come with tungsten for the tig so plan accordingly. If you will need detailed instructions this may not be for you.

Alles funktioniert und mit etwas Übung lässt sich sogar Dünnblech schweißen wenn man soweit auf minimum stellt sodass der Lichtbogen gerade noch zündet… Lift Tig funktioniert auch tadellos allerdings lässt sich ein mehr oder weniger großer Endkrater wegen fehlender Kontrolle am Brenner nicht vermeiden, Lichtbogen zündet sobald der Abstand sehr sehr klein ist, also man muss das Werkstück mit der WolframElektrode nicht berühren damit der Lichtbogen zündet, zum beenden muss man den Lichtbogen abreißen und auch wenn Gas nachströmt, durch dass kurze entfernen des Brenners lässt sich ein Endkrater und Oxidation am Ende der Schweißnaht nicht vermeiden. Einzige Kritik: Also mir war im Vorhinein schon bewusst, dass die Maschine sicherlich nicht die 250A Schweißstrom liefern wird und die Anzeige nicht wirklich dem tatsächlichen Schweißstrom entspricht. Das stört mich aber nicht wenn man weiß wie man damit umgeht. Also wenn ich 80A will dann stell ich das Gerät auf 100A, und generell ist der tatsächliche Schweißstrom um ca. 25-30% weniger als angezeigt und angegeben. Der maximale Schweißstrom ist (gemessen mit einer Strommesszange) anstatt der angegebenen 250A in Wirklichkeit eher zwischen 170A-180A, was mir und für die meisten Anwendungen aber durchaus ausreichend ist.

I bought this welder just for the MIG. I have only tried it with the flux core wire (0,8mm) and it weld very well. A bit fiddling with the wire speed and volt adjustment to get it right but that is nothing special for the Vevor.
