This came in cover with oil, which is a good thing no rust. My advice if you get one, is to clean it and pull the gear guard and check all gears, found a few lose ones that needed to be tight up. After I got it ready I roll some 20 gauge steel no problem.. As with all these small machines take it slow and don't push it and you can make anything you want. Well that's all folks. Sandman..

When I saw the listing for a "24" inch slip roller, I was worried it might not be big enough. But when it arrived, I saw how large it was, and became afraid.

Works well, I don't use it as much as I thought I would, but when I do it works well.

I only used it once so far to put some curve in some 20 gauge sheet met to repair a rusty part of my vans roof where it meets the rain rail. Worked for my purposes.

Best roller I ever used

Good little roll. I got tired of the crank handle real quick and coupled a gearbox to it. The 1.5" diameter roll will allow me to roll so small items. I'll need to come up with my own cone rolling attachment.

Quality product for the price. Slip roller is very well constructed, does not fell cheap at all. Sadly, the packaging is not sufficient for shipping such a heavy item. The slip roller showed up damaged - one of the adjustment screw handles was broken and the corner of the base was bent. I had to disassemble the roller to get everything back in alignment. Levor refunded $48 for the damage. I really just want the replacement parts, which do not seem to be available. But, the slip roller does work well, even with the minor damage.

These slip rolls are a nice addition to my small sheet metal shop. I don’t really need to roll anything over 24”, so these are the perfect fit. Everything seems to be constructed very well. The quality is as good as I need it to be. It’s quite heavy to move around. One of the plastic adjustment knobs broke off when I bumped it while moving it. However, it’s still functional. My biggest issue is the slip roll disengagement method. It’s less functional than other brands that I’ve used. It involves a sleeve/bushing that slides out of a snug hole in the frame allowing the top roller to disengage. It works well with no material in the roller, but when there’s sheet metal being rolled it can sometimes be under considerable tension and won’t slide easily out of the hole. It can still be done, it’s just more difficult than it needs to be. In my mind this defeats the purpose of a ‘slip’ roll. You need to be able to remove material when it’s in the rolls. Other brands use a lever style mechanism that can be flipped to release the top roller no matter how much tension is on it. Other than this issue the machine has thus far served me well.
