We haven't used the unit for ice-cream cones yet, but we have made about 200 Dutch stroopwafles with it.
The unit heats up quickly and has enough uniform heat for the cookie thickness so they get uniformly brown.
The non-stick surface works perfectly.
The timer is difficult to set accurate for stroopwafels as 5 second differences make a large difference in browning. However, the timer works well.
There are two brushes included with the unit but they have *plastic* bristles! They melted the first time I used one. Chuck them out immediately!

La barquillera de momento funciona correctamente y es bastante rápida al cocer, aunque la cocción no es uniforme y hay que voltear el producto para mejor resultado final

Product seems just fine..... control looks like it has been converted from a 220v machine...... very weird temperature settings on the dial. Once it is dialed in and set, it seems ok. It does not hold temperature to any accuracy......but maybe that does not matter for this type of thing. I have not made enough to see if it is an issue. Product is for the North American market.

Die Vorrichtung zum Höhrnchen formen, war wirklich sehr sehr dreckig!
Das war das erste das man beim öffnen der Schachtel sehen mußte!
Nach zweimal reinigen war der Dreck weg, aber die häßlichen vergilbungen bleiben für immer.
So ein tolles Gerät, und mit so einer Kleinigkeit es versauen.

Bonjour,
Je pense qu’il y’a un sérieux problème de qualité sur ce produit.
Il y’a un gros gros défaut au niveau du système pour ouvrir et fermer le gaufrier !!! C’est une tige fileté qui fait office d’axe de rotation !!!!!!!! Et il y’a un jeu vraiment énorme quand on l’ouvre il se balade de gauche à droite … c’est pas qualitatif du tout … !
