High quality item, I enjoyed using it , beside using for installation of my cabinet handles , used it for transferring point to point dimension like a stencil. overall very satisfied

Nick W. Easier than a measuring tape, reliable enough.
If you're needing to drill holes in consistent measurements (such as drawer hardware), this measuring tool saves several minutes and a bunch of tedious effort. The setting pins don't allow for the highest level of accuracy, but close enough not to cause any issues with fastener fitment or visible alignment. A solid value around the $20 price point for the time saved!

William Roozenboom Mine was misaligned
Unfortunately, mine came very "crooked". It didn't reference at 90 degrees from the top of the drawer, so the holes didn't align correctly. I tried to "shim it" with some tape, but it only got better (but not good).
I may have gotten a lemon because the quality seemed good, but I've never used mine because of the defect.

HC Guide is out of square
I am a cabinet installer and I wanted to try a new hardware jig. This is a very well built tool. All aluminum with stainless bushings. I was very pleased at first.
The problem with the one I received, is that the guide is out of square...therfore the hardware would be out of square on the door. I was able to bend the guide so that it was square with the hardware holes. The problem with that is, if you can bend it to fix it, you could also bend it if you dropped it. I check it for square EVERY time before using it.

Bruce Not square
Jig I received was not square and drawer handles holes would be 1/16" out of level. I added a .040" shim under one side of bracket (allen screws) to correct this, as I did not have time to wait for a replacement. With the shim added, I think this unit will be totally fine.

Love this product when it was working !!
The wheels stop rotating and the the brush won’t work!!
Something is not working in the wheel area gears ?
