I was very disappointed by the absence of the advertised 2" annular drill bit but Vevor did give me a modest refund to compensate. Still, this unit isn't quite what I thought after discovering that it does not enable any change in drill speed. Each drill bit requires a different speed. Apparently, some models do. Finally, I found the printed manual to be totally useless. It tells you very little of what you need to know and the level of English grammar is atrocious. For example it does not tell you what to put into the cooling reservoir (water, cutting oil) or how to regulate flow. Much of it reads as gibberish. I probably should have elected to return it but accepted the partial refund b/c I really need to get the work done so will put up with it.

the unit is ok but, differant all core drill rig I ever used had varible speed control . Speed ajustment helps save bits and equipment. The oil tank feature is a nice touch.

You get what you pay for ! This mag drill would probably do the trick for most people and situations, however I purchased this to use horizontally and the magnetic base placed completely flat on a smooth piece of plate steel that was clean no paint rust oil grease nothing and I could pull it straight off the plate . Needless to say that don’t cut it .

Hallo Zusammen. Habe heute die Maschine zum ersten mal benutzt. Es ist ein Heimwerker Gerät und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis past sehr gut. Habe auch ein viedeo gemacht leider zu gross nicht zu senden. Darauf zeige ich die Gefahr. Magnetbohrmaschinen müssen solang der Magnet aus ist, ohne Funktion sein dieses ist nucht der Fall. So kann due maschine umschlagen und erheblich verletzen. Bitte due zu prüfen. Sonst sehr handlich und für nicht professionelle Zwecke gut geeignet.

Any magnetic drill desperately needs a variable speed drill feature. You need the ability to vary your cutting speed when drilling different ferrous metals. Burning out one of these rotary cutters is an expensive exercise, and locating somebody to sharpen the damaged cutter is almost impossible and costly.

Mag drill came fast. I had issues with it slowing down and then running wide open. Contacted customer service and wanted to return it. They were adimate I needed to video the issue. I attempted to get it on video and the drill stopped doing anything but magnet still worked. I wasn't happy again I just wanted it gone. I sent video of it not working to customer service and they eventually sent Me a video on how to fix issue which was melted wire clamps inside of the housing. I removed the weak clips and just tied wires together and put black tape on connections and it's been working good now. I'm happy with features but really don't feel I should have to fix the poor design. I've purchased many products from vevor and been happy with everything but this mag drill. I think I should have gotten a credit or something for my troubles.
