Nelson Great value.
I purchased a pontoon with a 200 hp Yamaha. It had manual steering which was horrible at any speed over 20 mph. I was hesitant about this vs a $2000.00 kit however it has worked well for almost two seasons. I do miss the tilt wheel with the old steering however the trade off was worth it. Work flawlessly at high speeds.

Helm started to leak after 5 use in the water. Contacted customer support as I purchased the warranty and still waiting for a response. Be careful !!!!

SP Trash. Buy the name brand one.
Ordered the 300 HP power steering kit to install on my boat. Week later it shows up everything looked quality enough. Spent an hour installing everything to the directions, went to bleed the system wheel goes all the way one way, won’t turn the other… tried a few things to figure it out, then eventually the whole steering system just went into free spin both directions no leaks, hydraulic unit not turning, motor not moving. Contacted the company send a video of it malfunctioning and unsure whether the problem lay in the steering unit, the lines or ram itself I offered to send it all back and requested a new kit. Get email a couple days later FINALLY, blah blah blah “we’re sorry for the malfunction, your replacement is on its way” GREAT THANK YOU! Waited TWO WEEKS to get the delivery of “replacement kit” instead it finally shows up all it was was the steering unit…one piece of the puzzle. Installed it because figured why not let’s take a shot in the dark here. I’ll let you figure out if that fixed the problem, now I’m three weeks into waiting just to drive my damn boat because of this. Should have just bought a sea star and been on the water 2 weeks ago.
