I bought it to use on my boat and it worked perfectly. It's not difficult to install, if you know the basics of mechanics anyone can install it.

Easy to install. Great value for the money. I put a nicer steering wheel on it as the provided one is a bit basic. To be expected for the price. Great value and quality after 2 years of use with a 25hp yamaha so far.

Si tratta di un sistema di timoneria solido e di facile installazione per una nuova imbarcazione o per la sostituzione di un sistema più vecchio che è diventato instabile con l'età. Il kit comprende tutte le parti necessarie per l'installazione, dalla staffa che fissa il volante alla console alla timoneria/timone/timone all'interno della console, fino al cavo e ai bulloni per la parte posteriore della barca. Tieni presente che dovrai assicurarti del corretto posizionamento della staffa se stai effettuando un'installazione iniziale e non stai adattando direttamente il sistema. Installare la staffa troppo in basso e il pezzo di plastica che si trova dietro il volante per coprire la staffa potrebbe avere il bordo inferiore cadere sotto il bordo inferiore della console. Dopo aver utilizzato la sagoma per praticare i fori per la staffa nella console, potresti voler fissare temporaneamente il volante alla scatola del cambio per facilitare il processo di inserimento del cavo nella scatola del cambio senza che la scatola del cambio sia montata sulla staffa. Una volta collegato il cavo, è possibile togliere il volante e collegare il cambio con il cavo in posizione alla staffa prima di installare il coperchio, reinstallare e finalizzare la posizione del volante. Assicurarsi di ingrassare l'asta del cavo prima di installarla sul motore. Potrebbe risultare più semplice lavorare dalla parte posteriore dell'imbarcazione alla parte anteriore installando il cavo.

I converted my pully system aluminum boat over to this contemporary style and it was very straightforward. It works flawlessly with my 20hp Mercury outboard. I would recommend this product. My only advice is not to tighten the nut that goes in the center of the steering wheel to hold on the wheel. If you tighten it too much, there is too much friction and it grinds the plastic. So adjusting that was crucial in order to easily steer the boat.

Working well at replacing a 7215 cable which is no longer available. It fit right into the mastercraft boat and seems to be working very well so far.

The quick connect on the cable was not crimped on and came off while installing . I talked to customer service the said a replacement cable was sent waited about 2 weeks and 2 rubber hoses and a brass fitting arrived . I was furious and emailed customer service and asked for a complete refund and free return shipping they offered $45 refund I said no complete refund then they offered $90 refund I said no again then a complete refund was issued and no need to return .keep in mind each time I replied it was 1 to 3 days for them to reply .. So my boat was down for almost 2 months with shipping and negotiation.. In the end they did the right thing

El sistema de direccion no es excelente pero resuelve, lo entregaron en una direccion equivocada y tuve que ir a buscarlo, estaba todo empapado de agua cada pieza y la caja rota porque se habia mojado mucho, pesimo servicio de entrega.

I purchased this steering cable to turn my 130 HP Honda outboard. When I read the installation instructions I found out that there might be a question of whether this cable was adequate for my use. I contacted the technical support and after a week found out that it wasn't suitable. They have offered me a $56 refund. Hardly what I consider fair. In the future I will not purchase anything else from Vevor. You get what you pay for.
