Bonjour, Je n'ai pas encore monté le produit mais il me manque le type d'huile utiliser car le N°15 n'est pas parlant. Il est important pour moi d'avoir une marque de référence et surtout de savoir si l'huile hydraulique DEXRO est compatible ou non. Cordialement

Functions as designed. Installation was straight forward prepping the console to accommodate the helm was the biggest time consumer.

I replaced the steering in my boat because it was time. The shop wanted $3500.00 to put there steering system in. Went home and got to looking and found this steering system. Got it, installed it in my Proline 230 center console with a Mercury 225 optimax in under an hour. I have used other steering systems that cost 7 times what this system cost me and they are not as smooth when turning the helm. There is no lag, no sticky feeling, it is very responsive. It has been on my boat for a year now and there are no issues or complaints. The instructions are very simple and easy to understand (if you need them). Other than the labels and the difference in feel, there is no difference in materials from the high dollar system to this one. If I need another one in the future I will come right back to VEVOR!

La stagione 2024 sarà il terzo anno in cui questo kit sarà in servizio sulla mia barca. La mia unica lamentela è che richiede più giri per bloccarsi rispetto al Sea-Star. Adesso non ricordo esattamente quanti, credo siano sei turni. Quando l'ho installato per la prima volta ho pensato che sarebbe stato molto fastidioso ma non me ne accorgo più. Il kit ha funzionato perfettamente, non ha avuto perdite, cigolii o problemi. Ci ho messo circa 250 ore solo in acqua salata e, a parte la vernice che sbiadisce leggermente, sembra ancora lo stesso del giorno in cui l'ho installato. Detto questo, sono meticoloso nel lavare tutta la mia barca dopo ogni utilizzo e nell'oliare tutto con Corrosion X o Fluid Film alla fine di ogni stagione. Credo che con la quantità di risparmio che questo kit offre, sia un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

The hydraulic steering system is a great upgrade from rack and cable steering with no engine feedback. However this is the problem. There are numerous hydraulic steering helm pump capacities ranging from 1.1 cubic inches to 3.0 cubic inches. The higher the pump volume the lower the number of steering wheel turns lock-to-lock. This particular helm provided 7 turns lock-to-lock, which was almost double number of turns of the Teleflex rack and steering cable that was removed, which is not good for my high performance boat setup. I would advise to get 100% confirmation on the steering helm volume from VEVOR before you buy to see if it will work for your boating application. There are charts online that provide the number of turns lock-to-lock based on the helm volume. Otherwise it is a great steering system.

I bought this kit trying to save money and was very satisfied! Was easy to setup and very smooth I used it for most of last year and put over 50 hours on the boat and never had any problems! Way nicer then cable steer especially for my center console

Great for the price. Holds up to the weather of the north Atlantic. The ease for steering is untouched to the old cable setup.

I was pleasantly surprised when I recently Ordered a Hydraulic Boat Power Steering Kit, because it Shipped quickly from China, and arrived safely at my House in Wisconsin a few days later, and it was packaged well, and everything was in the Package, and everything was in Good Working Order. And, I am a very Good, Experienced Aerospace Designer, and this Product was Designed well, and the Machining, and Attention to Detail was excellent, and this Kit was about half the price of it's American equivalent, which is refreshing with todays Inflation. I Installed this kit myself in about 4 hours, and I have had my Boat in the water many times since the Installation, and everything works well, and it is a pleasure to not have to fight the old Steering Unit, this new Hydraulic Steering System is easy to steer, and it is very precise, and effective. I have already recommended this Product to other Friends, and Family that would find it useful. Thank you for paying attention to the Details VEVOR. The provided Instructions were adequate, and I referenced a couple of the Competitors Install Videos on-line, to ease the Installation Process.
