I am an HVAC/Refrigeration contractor. Was using this copper bending tool for 3 weeks already. Nothing wrong with the tool. It does the job. However, the box for this set is a cheap soft plastic. It wouldn’t stay locked, I have to put a plastic zip around the box if I don’t want pick up the pieces from my van’s floor. For a field job site this set is absolutely wrong idea. If you keep it at your garage and use it occasionally … it’s a good buy. For the work site you want different holding case or another brand.

I just received this bender, opened the box and everything looked very impressive. Hooked it up to a piece of 1/2" soft copper tubing for a 90% bend and made it to about 60% and the handle exploded in my hand. I then packed it all up and threw it into the garbage can where it belonged, live and learn.

Maakt geen mooie bochten

After a few times of use fitting start sliding off by itself
