I recently purchased this Murphy bed kit, and overall it works as intended — but the design of the legs really needs a rethink. The way the legs are fastened to the mounting plate is not ideal. The threaded insert that the legs screw into can easily come loose from the plate, which makes the whole setup feel less secure than it should. A redesigned leg connection would make a big difference in both durability and user confidence.

The set is a very efficient basis for a wall bed. Be aware that making the furniture is tough work and requires some craftman's skill. The product is very good and according to specifications. Be sure to follow instructions on the size or understand the distances between the items. I reduced the size from 160cm to 140cm and adapted the construction accordingly. It worked well. The provided "minimum weight" for the bed has to be taken serious: the gas pressure spring will otherwise pull the bed up.

Great Hardware, easy enough to follow directions. The one thing that gave me a headache was converting all the metric to Imperial.

Zoals eerder gemeld heb ik wat gezondheid problemen en ziekenhuis geweest voor enige tijd en heb tot op heden geen verdere stappen kunnen nemen om het bed en systeem voor kast verder uit te werken nog maar eet geen brood heb goed heb gehele pakket op goede plek opgeborgen tot alles weer hopelijk beter is om begin te maken binnenkort. Het pakket zag er in ieder geval goed uit goed verpakt en snel geleverd in ieder geval. Zodra meer weet hoe en wat zal zeker bericht sturen enz. mvg Marcel Bussing

Excellent quality product. Instructions we clearly and easy to follow. All components were of a high standard and clearly labelled. Good child-safe gas struts prevent it dropping while opening. If using with lighter mattresses extra weight will need to be added to keep the bed down (I used a small concrete slab) Would recommend!

Hardware is very solid and good quality. Instructions are very poor, all measurements are in metric, required material is 1" plywood along with 3/4" plywood. Most people in Canada would use only 3/4" plywood for complete build. Converting the measurements is confusing because the metric to inch conversions are unusual sizes and the tolerances are somewhat tight. I am a cabinet/furniture maker with a large shop and I found it complicated build. Just rewrite the instructions with your material choice and convert everything to imperial if that is what you prefer. it is still a much cheaper kit than a lot of the others with the fancy instructions.

good quality product, but the plan is designed for the use of 1 inch materials and not the industry standard, example melamine which is 5/8 inch (16 mm) or 3/4 (19mm)

The instruction are good but incomplete in places. Every part needs to be discussed and measurements given for placement. As well the building support group was very unhelpful.

Sam mechanizm jest spoko ale instrukcja to katastrofa. Instrukcja zrobiona dla płyt 25mm kiedy my w Polsce używamy głównie płyt 18mm. Brak podstawowych informacji na temat wymiarów mechanizmu abyśmy mogli sami zaprojektować skrzynię. Skończyło się na tym że musiałem liczyć wszystko na podstawie instrukcji by potem móc stworzyć skrzynię taką jaką chcę. Mnóstwo błędów i bzdur bo wszystko jest przetłumaczone przez tłumacz google'a. Ogólna ocena to 2 bo wysiłek włożony w napisanie instrukcji to porażka.
